It’s freaking difficult to build it!
Initially I wanted to write just the line above about this Frontier BBQ, but I thought that maybe not many people would understand why I am so enraged. So let me explain!
This new feature in FrontierVille, the family reunion BBQ challenges us to request from our friends almost 1,000 items! That’s right – ONE THOUSAND items is the magic number here when it comes to completing the missions and the Frontier BBQ. I don’t know about you, but I am completely outraged by this and I am seriously considering to launch a petition to Zynga to understand that we are human beings too and that it’s stopping to be fun playing the game and turns into a really stressful experience.
Either way, as I said, this guide to building the Frontier BBQ in the game can be easily written: it’s freaking difficult. You have to ask for items to craft other items, then ask for some more. Then go to the next stage and repeat. You do this 4 times to unlock a super-duper recipe that you will only craft once, then completely ignore it. Why? Because a new building will launch in the game and you’ll have to ask for another 1,000 items to complete it.
Yay, fun!
I agree with you. They have taken so much fun out of the game by requireing us to beg our neighbors for so many items. Also, I have noticed that they have cut back on the amount of items that you can get. Springs, I keep getting a notice that I am getting to the limit of ten that I can collect. What can you do when you are waiting for something else.
Another item I have noticed is that when the telegraph came out, I would get a item for crafting at a rate of 1 for every 2 to 3 chops of a pine tree, or another item for about every other debris that you cleared. Now, I have to chop down 5 fully grown pine trees to get one item ( needing 20), and I lost track of when I actually got the other from clearing debris.
Now I am starting to understand why most of my neighbors have quit the game.
I’m also becoming frustrated with the game, too bad, I did enjoy it till they started overwhelming us with missions that repeat, I have spent money for horseshoes occasionally but not too much and it seems if you don’t your neighbours pull ahead quickly, Im thinking it’s time to quit frontierville
If you do start a petition please add my name to it, I’m sick and tired of having to ask for everything cause I’ve been unable to get/gift any items from the apps section of the game for months, yes months now. Plus, it also ticks me off that when I do finally get some of the items….the next day some have disappeared; or in your gift box you get items and when you go to the mission, they’re not there at all. I think alot of my neighbors have quit cause it’s getting to where I get about 1/10 of the things I request if that. The game has become a total B U M M E R!!
I have so many unfinished quests that I dont know which one to work on. I too am getting frustrated . I play no other game because I dont have time. Maybe if we were able to request items from neighbors more than once a day there would be more progress and less frustration.

I have to agree with you all, I am so tired of chasing my tail with the missions. As if once isn’t enough we seem to be stuck in a revolving door.Every day a new mission and every mission seems to be a repeater. Not as many of my friends are playing now I guess they have had enough. Can’t ask for help, and can’t get it of the wall, 50 is the limit for grabbing, but we seem to get more missions than chances to get the stuff to finish blah, blah blah, I know you have all heard it all already, and i guess you are all thinking it.. Zynga, can the game return to being a game and not the monkey puzzle you have created..FRUSTRATED.

When I first began playing, it was exciting. So much so that I encouraged 5 family members to play. There are only 2 of us still playing, and think he and I will soon give up. Not only is the amount of missions we’re supposed to complete ridiculous, but the game is slow and glitchy and STEALS from us. I understand their need to make money, but they will NOT force me to use my hard-earned money to encourage their greed. There is absolutely no way to help your neighbors by visiting. This is due to the speed in which their pages load combined with the number of times you have to reload. I have needed to say these things to someone who will listen, and that most certainly is NOT Zynga. Thanks for the opportunity to vent!!
I agree with everything stated,,, I complained to zynga and they completed the ultimate chilli,,,, but I still have the bbq ones to do,,,, I have stopped asking for items and wait until I see my neighbours and click on those,,, if I finish it fine,,, if I dont thats also fine,,, getting totally chewed off with this game, xx
I am trying to finish Fanny and Hanks house and i go in and try to purchase the dog and the fence and when i do that i get a thing saying report bug and then i get a refresh so could you please fix it where i can finish my task
