It looks like the unexpected has just happened to Zynga: people have started to complete the Avalanche Pass area in The Pioneer Trail and clicked the sign to travel to Fort Courage and they got… a coming soon sign!
Here are the images that Robert has sent us to prove that indeed he has finished the Avalanche Pass missions and he’s stuck there because the Fort Courage area is still in the works:
So when will Fort Courage be coming to The Pioneer Trail/FrontierVille? That’s a tricky question and I don’t think that even Zynga knows the answer to that. However, I sure hope that it will happen quickly – people don’t like to wait anymore after waiting so much for the Pioneer Trail to be released. We don’t need another disappointment!
What about you? Did you finish the Avalanche Pass mission and are stuck there as well?

idem pour moi, je suis aussi bloquer au meme niveau et ça devient lassant a la longue, surtout que je ne pouvais pas demander le fils pour le detonnateur (10 jours d’attente env)donc j’ai du payer 6x 8 fer a cheval pour en fin de compte rester bloquer, c’est nul et honteux !! j’ai arreter farmvill a cause de chose commecelle ci en trautre, j’envisage d’arreter frontiervill si ça continu ainsi. de plus je n’arrive plus a jouer a nouveau on me fait raffraichir depuis un long moment maintenant !!! stabiliser le jeu avant de donner des nouveauté !!!
In my 3rd day of being stuck. They should have had ALL of the area FINISHED BEFORE the release. Also, what comes next AFTER Fort Courage???
Finished Yesterday and now wondering when am going to reach to Fort Courage to save that young boy
Kind of disappointing to complete what we are supposed to and now we are just setting. Can’t even go back to get item for our collections.:(

have you done all the collections from those places? I have
3 days and waiting. You work your butt off to be number 1 on your neighbors list and then you have to sit and wait like this for everyone else to catch up to you. What’s the challenge here? C’mon developers meet your deadlines and get this game moving..
I finished 4 days ago on the trail. I cant even collect more points because BLASTED INTERNET comes up everytime. They say its being worked on. I think its done to slow you down on your game progress. I have been playing from the very start and any time I have moved forward fast it slows the game down where it takes days to get one blade of grass or else the internet keeps needing to be refreshed. I also cant collect on the Chuckwagon because It says I have to use up my rations. I cant do that because I cant do anything on the trail.
For Debbie, and anyone else suffering from the “Blasted Internet” message. There is a problem with the Trees growing back right next to the tree stumps that are left behind. You have to Clear those stumps first, you will see them at the base of a tree if it’s there, before you can cut your tree down. The same goes for Crew Members cutting Trees, in that you will receive another “blasted” message. Best bet is to spend some extra energy, (or asking your Crew), to clear those stumps before new ones are planted…

I have been done with it over a week now and all they keep telling me it willl be sooon they are waiting for others players to catch up and mean time on the frontierville with their new 3f clubhouse you cant even start the missions all i have got for 3 days now is the blasted internet crap they better soon fix it or im done and i have played it since they started it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but to be fair…do you want them to add the fort…and then not be able to play because we keep getting disconnected…i can not do anythig on pioneer with out the message coming up that i lost internet….i know we love new things..but I …and that is just me ..would like them to get the game working right…and also get those honeymoon quest off my frontier….i’m excited to get to fort too…..just waitng patiently…lol….
I am very sick off getting kicked of my Pionner game,and the rations are very low can hardley stay on cause of the rations and the gifts are very poor,and missions very slow,like they say we have to wait for everyone to be finish I guess,get going it is very borring,and it could be fun.This kicking us of the game is not the internet it is your servers not being strong enough,and I’d say if you can not make one game properly working then you sould not have two that is to slow to play.
been waiting at fort courage 8 days, all the other gamers going around me in points, dont know how, but i was number 1, am now number 13 in my area.. zynga sucks, should have been ready, when they released it….
Been waiting for almost 2 weeks now. The worst part is that I spent horseshoes to get through it more quickly and now can’t continue. What a joke.
Has been many problems, but now they seem to have gone exponential. Guaranteed bugs with anything new now, from the aforementioned Internet messages, to gifting problems; mission resets; collection problems and now with the ‘Mastery Missions” can not harvest properly, but no incentive to collect XP after Level 150. At least less time spent on the game. Have a look at the revenues and profit they are making, so more fool us?
I finished Avalanche pass 2 weeks ago and have been waiting for Fort Courage to open. I sure hope it is soon or I am going to just bag the whole thing.
Got an email from Zynga, saying that they are sorry for the delay. They said they are working on Fort Courage, and it should be rolling out soon. WHAT, Where have we heard this before!

they are saying now that it should be near the end of september till we get the forts..it will roll out slowly….

The boys at Zynga are developing and end game. In my opinion, that end game is a repeat of the Farmville transition with different Mastery Challenges and other things. I mean they are trying to find a way to transport us all to England. Let me tell you something. I spent a lot of money to get to Avanlance Pass. Been there for a long time and am leading the pack. There is evidence of some tampering with the game and ranking already. If this one tanks, I am done with Zynga, and all the rest.
I finished Avalanche Pass today, now just waiting. O well, I guess I can try to finish off the collections while I wait. It would be nice if we could go back to the earlier stops on the trail.
I honestly feel THE BLASTED INTERNET is a ploy to slow us down on the game, because they cant keep up with the game play.. My daughter has been sick so I have been takeing care of her game shes not far on the trail and it never shuts down. I also noticed that before when the refresh or blasted in comes up it is sending me back to the homestead and not the trail like it use to. They do it all the time when you need an object. Grass grows like crazy till you need it.. I waited 2 weeks just to get 10 grass. I now save it in my inventory. Right now Im haveing a hard time getting a moose head. My husband ask why I play. And I dont really know. But I did quit playing Farmville after 2 years. I guess its not to long for this one.

I finished Avalanche Pass last week and now I’m stuck.
I wish I hadn’t rushed it, I would’ve hung around hunting wolves instead; they only appear during one of the quests and they’ve got their own collection.
i finnished this some 3 weeks ago and think its about time they hurry up and unlock fort cortage think personally the game developers are lacking now and i no full well people loosing intrest in this game so many off my friend have quit this game and now instead play that new game come on zynga give us some intresting new missions please we are all bored off this game now
I have been done for over 3 weeks…there is nothing else I can do there…If we do not get the fort soon…I am deleting pioneer…I have played frontier…every day ..all day long since it started….I will keep the frontier…most of my friends have quite pioneer already…I ahve not played for days…I was number 1…in my goup now I am # 17
I rushed to finish Avalance Pass mission before I left home for holiday 3 weeks ago. I thought I would miss tons of mission and left behind. Thought all my neighbors had save the kid and brougt her home.
What do you do at the trail while waiting? keep harvesting trees, fruits, fishing? The inventory in the cart are full can not hold anymore meat, medicine, or wheel. Upgrading the cart also seem wasting time to many things to ask just to add 2 spaces.

Why did Zynga Release the Pioneer Trail if it was only 3/4 Finished?? they must know by now how fast the game progresses by people. Im Stuck aswell and have been for the past 3 Days, its boring now and i bet theres nothing much special at the end either.

all buildings full of the animals etc they hold
All Badges and lessons completed
all collections available handed in at least once

Hi I like all the rest of you are wanting to play, play play. But you know— we get this game for free and so I guess I can be patient till these creative people finish what they make for US!!! I know it sucks!! But cut them a little slack people! We do like the games or we would not be begging for them to hurry up!! lol
PS — can any of you create these games? 
I agree with Terri and I have also purchased horseshoes and am happy to wait. Like I said earlier I am sure there are things pioneers can do while waiting.

I have several of these Books, but waste of time at level 150. Also when you get to 150, game loses a lot of the urgency. Re Game. Yes, I recognise it is difficult to deliver a game like this over internet and utilising third party applets and sockets etc, but there is bad programming design; bad implementation; bad support; basic flaws and I could do it better. Will the profit they are making, so could they! Still, I hope everyone has been taking advantage of buying the horses under the Fort Courage tab at one ticket each!

I have given up on trying to find the boy. Finished Avalanche weeks ago and still nothing. No announcement, no target, nothing. I assume the boy died and thats why we have not received another message from him. Alas, time to hold a memorial service and move on to another venture outside of Pioneer. Good luck to those waiting. I hope that you can find the kids remains to bring him home.

I think we must have gotten close so kidnappers laying low for a bit till the heat dies down. Time to get all CSI, CSI NY, CSI Miami, NCIS, NCIS LA and a few others. CBS should bring Cold Case back as they always found their Man.
I have gotten to Fort Courage,there are no quests. There is an arrow to repeat the trail again.
Now what are we going to do?
i have reached fort courage collected bonuses from soliders and done the watering of the cascuces now is these all that we do at the fork i really dont want to start the came all over again just need to know where to go from here thanks
Well Im no up to level 150, because I dont buy horseshoes to get everything, I actually play the game without cheats, and getting Zynga richer by buying horseshoes. So here we are waiting and wating for a game that all you can do is talk to the soldiers, water the cactuses, use your PV food/or meals to do Fort Courage. I agree with everyone that this should had been completed a very long time ago. Zynga’s been nice to help me alone with the bugs throughout the game, but this waiting doing nothing is a big waste of time.
Ft. Courage…What a lackluster end to the trail! Somehow their imagination got lost on the trail. No quests to do there either. I’d like to see them do something other than offer trees to wack, chop grass or collect a bonus from soldiers! Rations are useless. You do functions with your regular energy. Let us go through the waterfall, the mine or the cactus hollow. They could have let us blow up the blocked areas and give us something worthy of the long trip! There is an option to redo the trail…….WHY? There’s nothing to the end of it.
I just really wonder HOW you people are even done yet. Really. Maybe its because I actually have other things to do besides sit around on FB all day, or maybe because I do not spend money on HS, but really?? HOW ARE YOU DONE? I AM STILL working on Avalanche pass and I think I have tons of missions there left before I can move on! I know I still have 2 hidden missions and 1 story scroll to find, plus the fact that I have probably at least 3 regular quests to complete!!! YIKES PEOPLE! SLOW DOWN MAYBE? haha… IDK…. maybe I am wrong but wow…..
