It appears to be upgrading time in FrontierVille once again as Zynga has released the upgrade for the Barn in FrontierVille, alongside the Big Barn series of missions that you will love to complete, especially since at the end you will be allowed to store the big animals (Horses, Mule, Oxen and Cows) inside!
But enough about that – I am sure you want to know everything about the 4 new missions in the Big Barn series, so let’s check them out!
Bess’ Big Barn FrontierVille Mission
- Start the Upgrade of the Big Barn
- Collect 15 Blueprints
- Tend 20 Cows
Reward: 250 XP, Fast Hands Boost and 250 coins
Prepare the Livestock FrontierVille Mission
- Tend 20 Oxen
- Tend 15 Horses on your own Homestead or a Neighbors’
- Tend 20 Neighbor Apple Trees
Reward: 500 XP and 500 coins
Gettin’ Dirty and Stayin’ Purty FrontierVille Mission
- Customize the Big Barn
- Hire Bess 3 Times
- Collect 15 Muck Boots (by asking your friends)
Reward: 500 XP, 5 Harvest Animal Boost and 500 coins
Go big or go home! FrontierVille Missions
- Store 100 Animals in your Big Barn
- Collect Daily Big Barn Bonus 2 Times
- Tend 50 Mules, Horses, Oxen or Cows on your Homestead or a Neighbors’

i have received the Orchard missions but not the Big Barn Missions. lemme trade lol
I’m really happy to see that we’ll be able to store the bigger animals, but my problem is when the future missions ask you to tend neighbour cattle or horses and they’re away in a barn that visitors cant get to. haven’t got it yet, but just got the orchid one so the barn cant be far behind.
@ Mommaluna, you know that usually you can store just adult animals, like in the livestock pen, or adult trees in the orchard. But there will always be some non-adult animals and trees on the farm, in order to store them too. So don’t worry, there will be what to tend
I was wondering when if anyone has received the barn missions yet I have finished the orchard but still don’t have the barn yet!!!

Everything sounds good for the barn except tending 20 apple trees on neighbors. If they have all their trees in the orchard, how are you going to find tree’s to tend?
I don´t know what zynga is doing ´couse they have said these mission sould be release with the orchard and I can´t vote for the name of the new frontier instead oregon trail but these is only a forum not official we don´t have to explode in here…
how are you supposed to tend your neighbors animals if they are stored in the barn?
Part II on mine said mules instead of horses and I believe that it was 20 instead of 15. They gave me credit for brown mules also so it wasn’t hard to find the mules on my neighbors’ homesteads. Also, a few of my friends & I just remove the trees and/or animals from the storage and place them out for each other to click on. They can be put back into storage any time. All you need are a few good friends who will work together.
I have completed the Bid Barn Mission, however when I stored my animals, and received the badges, by barn dissappeared. It’s now invisible. Bess is still there, on her horse, but not barn. If you try to put something on the space where the barn is, its red, so its still there, but you can’t see it. I have a message into Zynga, I hope they fix this and I get all my animals back..
My barn has also dissappeared well at least 3/4 of it and I can’t do anymore

Hi all my barn has disappeared also, I buit another barn however it won’t let me upgrade to the big barn. what to do Zynga hmmmmm ho hum ho hum…………
Hopefully, the “Big Barn” will be patched so as to allow missions that require daily bonuses from the regular barn to work with it…seems silly that I have to have both.
i completed the barn mission but on mission 3/4 i didnt recieve my 5 animal boosts i was robbed of them
I completed the barn mission 3/4, too and didnt receive my 5 animal boost,have in the barn 89 big animals and wrote me only 19, why?
My barn has dissapeared!!!!!
Completed both missions but the barn is not there. I do hope they get this fixed soon. I hope my animals stay there. : (
The animals stay there and if you can see either a small piece of your barn or animals you can still feed them etc. But its’ really frustrating. I hope they fix it soon also

the barn is still there..if Bess is there just move your cursor slowly back and you will see that is there,,my animals are still there fine and healthy..some of my mules are multiplying and the horses are trying to hump the cows,,is a free for all in there,,,I had to go and separate the oxens because there was one that was not completely convince he was an ox and wanted to be a cow and they almost kill him,,but thank god I got there on time sent him to therapy and turned out that this oxen was being mistreated by the previous owner as a baby and he had an identity crisis,,but now he is all the ox he can be and the rest of the heard accepted him back and ask for his forgiveness remember they almost gore the heck of his mule..LOL
Completed my upgraded barn, have animals stored and can see and feed them.
But when I try to collect my daily bonus it won’t let me and saying I need to complete big barn III of IV mission first.
Sometimes I also have the problem that my barn dissapears.

My barn is up But I have NO BESS she hasn’t appeared at all and I need her to complete certain missions! I rotated the barn also but to no avail.
How can I fix this problem???
I descovered that if you have to store 100 animals in the Big Barn, for the last mission, it’s ok if you remove 100 animals fron the Big Barns, and then store them back!
I am having a hard time getting everyone to help with all the missions and quests. I hope my barn doesn’t disappear like yours has. Still trying to raise the animals to put in. My Orchard is finished. But why keep adding on and adding on missions and making it impossible for anyone to finish them. I have asked for new neighbors, but everyone is quitting because it is so hard to get the missions completed.
