The first time the Care Package was released in FrontierVille, it was not as successful as Zynga might have wished it was, but today marks the day when the FrontierVille care package makes a comeback and this time it all happens without game crashes or any other problems (if you remember, the first time the Care Package was launched, it used to crash the game after opening).
So… what is the Care Package in FrontierVille? A special gift that contains items you really need on your homestead: from building materials to school supplies and collectibles, you can find all things of value in there!
How to send a Care Package?
Simply visit a neighbor and after helping them around, you have the option to send them a care package. Have in mind, therefore, that visiting more neighbors now can give you more care packages in return since people tend to visit those who visit them!

How can I receive something OTHER than axes? How about in my wishlist? Or empty spots in the collections? After 8 axes, I am not interested in care packages.
I required 3 chicken breasts and 3 cottage cheese for one of my new year resolution missions… and even the thought of feeding my chickens and cows over and over was making me disgusted…. i opened a few spl care packages and voila!! these collectibles popped out… made me go
!!!
But wen i opened it for trying to get some chapel building parts… i just kept getting axes, wood and cloth… now im really confused
im not getting anything useful from the care packages anymore. just fire, wood, energy, food, i have tons of this stuff. why am i not getting anything good?

Fire, money, wood, energy and food. Which I can easily get or already have way too much of that. I liked it better when it helped me finish my quest.
Yeah – the care packages used to be fantastic ways to complete all those building missions for people without 100′s of Zynga friends (like me). However, now they aren’t worth the time to click them. Wood, Fire, and Coin – SERIOUSLY!?!?!? Come on Zynga. Don’t make me come over there and blast you with my bear cannon. And you know I’ll do it too.
What’s up with care pacjages? They went from great to dud. I’m not getting anything useful from the care packages anymore. Yet the description still says you get help completing quests, NOT ANYMORE, just common stuff that we all probably have too much of anyway.
Same here with the wood, fire, cloth, food. I don’t have hundreds of friends on FrontierVille either, so it’s really difficult to finish quests by just relying on what they’ll send. Without good care packages to finish the missions, I’ll likely quit the game.
Have your child open the packages! The first one pr day will give you something from your wishlist. If you keep opening new packages you are more likely to get ordinary stuff!

this is stupid. it just doesn’t help (except maybe you’re level one)!
Wish that at least in one out of 4 or so would be something useful :/
