Well, actually, your homestead didn’t travel back to the past, it was just a rollback, a bug in FrontierVille that made all progress you’ve made from 6PM PST Friday (8/5) and 6AM PST Saturday (8/6) to be ignored and the homestead to be brought to a prior state. Fortunately, Zynga were aware of this and decided to compensate all players that have been affected by the rollback with some really nice prizes: a free Book of Experience (one free level!) and a really ugly decoration, Tragic Jack Statue Decoration.
Here is what Zynga themselves had to say about this problem: ” We are aware of an issue that started to occur between roughly 6PM PST Friday (8/5) and 6AM PST Saturday (8/6) where FrontierVille players experienced rollbacks (their homestead was “reset” to a prior state).
We have a listing of all the players affected by this issue and we will be issuing a compensation package on behalf of Frontier Jack (this will be awarded in-game).
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.”
As I said, the compensation for this rollback was a Book of Experience and a Tragic Jack Statue that should’ve appeared in your free gift notification as gifts from Frontier Jack and you should find them in your inventory. Only if you were affected, though!
I got the compensation package, really pleased with it nice to get a reward for the trouble, but the statue could have been a little nicer its kinda ugly !!!
I was wondering why I needed to feed my ox again and why I got the freebies. Other than the ox being hungry again…I didn’t have any real impact. But I can always use a free level boost. That’s worth 100k xp to me.
it affected me by heaps had to redo 2 levels re buy my horsere put up the barn and ponderosa the list goes on and I still haven’t received compensation from what i can see.

Got nothing. Got ripped off on the honeymoon getaway tickets which for some missions I paid horseshoes for…got bupkis, zip, zilch, nada.
Dangit, I go out of town and don’t login for a few days and I miss a book of experience and a new statue!!
