Zynga is really close to release the Ghost Town in FrontierVille and you’ve already seen how it looks by checking out the Ghost Town map here on FrontierVille Info. So you already know that it’s a new area, similar to the Pioneer Trail, but a lot smaller. Still, there is a lot to do in Ghost Town and a ton of missions to complete and I am sure you’re curious to find all the details about this new area, as well as how Ghost Town works and how to get to Ghost Town.
Probably the most important thing about this AMAZING new feature is that it’s not all that Zynga has in store for the Halloween celebration this year – so we should really congratulate the developers for their hard work and dedication. And hopefully it will be a feature without many problems and bugs!
Now back to the Ghost Town in FrontierVille: in order to get to it, you will have to hit the Travel button, in a similar way to visiting the Pioneer Trail.
Once there, things will be a little more familiar, even though the design is awesome and mostly new: you will get the chance to hire three crew members that have similar roles to those of the Pioneer Trail (Mad Scientist, Sharpshooter and Shaman). However, you don’t have to worry about having to do a particular action with that crew member anymore–the game automatically chooses which crew member to use depending on your action. So if you’re doing normal actions, your main character will do them, but if you’re tending to some Cursed Corn, you’ll always be using your Mad Scientist. You can move each of the crew members and your main character normally. This way you’ll be able to always use the correct crew member and never have to worry if you’re using the right one for the job (note that for Pioneer Trail the old way will still remain). A nice addition!
The bad news is that FrontierVille’s Ghost Town uses an independent energy system, and you’ll need Gumptions to “fuel” the actions of your characters. However, Zynga promises that we’ll start with a lot more than we had on the Pioneer Trail and it will be overall easier to get extra energy (or Gumptions) for the Ghost Town.
Seems like a hit already, don’t you think? Don’t forget to share the news and check back here on FrontierVille Info for more details about the Ghost Town in FrontierVille!
