The Checking for Breakfast FrontierVille goal is pretty hard to complete because of its requirements, but with the tips I’ll share with you I’m sure you’ll have it done in no time! But let’s see the description of the goal first!
“Nothing like a fresh breakfast in the morning. Go out and see if you can rustle some up” – sounds pretty interesting, but it’s actually difficult since you need the following in order to complete the Checking for Breakfast goal in FrontierVille:
- Tend 10 unready neighbor chickens
- Collect one egg
- Collect two bacon
Not the healthiest breakfast around, but you’ll have to go for it. As I said, I have some tips and tricks to help you with the most difficult task, the first one: tending unready chickens (chickens who are not hungry) is relatively difficult, since chickens have a low time requirement to be ready. Therefore, in order to be able to tend unready chickens of your neighbors you should:
1. Try to contact one of your neighbors and simply ask them feed the chickens, then visit them immediately and feed the unready chickens.
2. Keep an eye on your Facebook wall and see which neighbor is active. If they are active, chances are that they have just fed their chickens, so hop in and see for yourself.
The other requirements are pretty simple to be met: you can find eggs for the Checking for Breakfast goal by harvesting chickens and Bacon is found when harvesting Pigs.

I have a tip for the chickens – at your neighbors farm you can tend a chicken – making it not hungry – and tend it again when it’s not ready. You can only do 2 chickens on each neighbors farm (with a “tend” leftover for something else), but it was easier for me than finding unready chickens.
took me for ages to get eggs, got it at least from neighburs as gift
I’m stuck on tending unready chickens. initially i could do what Ames mentions above but now it seems i can’t tend a chicken twice – it now has a bluish cloud around it therefore not letting me go back to tend when not hungry. Any suggestions or has anyone else had this problem? I have tended 6 out of the ten needed. I only have 5 neighnours 2 of them being in different countries (time difference) and 2 don’t seem to being playing anymore so it is impossible to tend not hungry chickens that my neighbours have just tended. HELP!!! I’M SOOOO FRUSTRATED!!!!
Lisa, I have the same problem. When I feed the neighbours chickens, they just get that bluish cloud, so I am unable to tend them. I can’t complete this quest because of it. It didn’t use to have this problem because I tried it on my friend’s a while ago and it worked fine. I can tend all the other animals EXCEPT the chickens. SO frustrating!
I too am having the same problem, even with the pigs. Can’t complete this quest either. UGH!!!

i cant get bacon! i have got the eggs and the chickens but i cant get bacon. i have tried to tend unready and ready chickens but still got nothing, i have one out of the two needed but i cant remeber how or when i got it. how did other people get bacon?

I got the bacon from tending my own pigs
we both my husband and i have done over 30 chicks and still only shows one each thats it now no one has any more baby chicks why are they not being counted to our goal we have the other two items already and have been working over a month on these chicks? why it is not counting them and why is it tacken so long to get this done????? we go to our friends and help feed the new chickes we dont understand why it is not counting them for us.
i did what ames said, and i got the chikens but i cant get the eggs or the bacon
After reading this, I was discouraged but it took less than a day to groom neighbor pigs and get 2 bacon and finally grooming a few neighbor chickens I finally got the fried eggs. Maybe I just got lucky. I did have both items advertised in my wish list.
My hubby has been trying to help me complete this goal by logging onto his game and feeding his chicks so I can immediately get over there before the time limit. However, as Diana and Tony mentioned above, after I feed the chicks my counter doesn’t move! It still says 0/10 and I’ve fed 15 now; 5 for the past 3 days at my hubby’s farm. Anyone else have this problem?

you have to tend full grown chickens, not baby chicks. I have everything but the egg. All I keep getting from them is an omelette. I have like 10 of those now and 0 fried eggs.
I have had the grooming, and bacon done for a while, but I too cannot get the eggs in the frying pan. I also have like 10 omelets, but my chickens won’t give up the eggs…. any ideas?
i have done all my goals exept the BACON one and i really cant do it :S
any ideas ???
