One of the newer quests – and quite difficult ones, too – is the Search for Lost Hammer, a quest that involves a bit more into play Frontier Jack, Zynga’s tutorial NPC. If you want to find out everything about this goal, as well as how to complete it faster, read on. Let’s start with the official description of this goal:
“Good ol’ Frontier Jack lost his hammer while clearing some land for a neighbor. Search everywhere!” In other words, it means that you must do the following:
- Clear Three Neighbor Skulls
- Clear Five Neighbor Thorns
- Clear Three Neighbor Cacti
As you can see, it’s quite a difficult goal, since Thorns and Cactus plants are probably some of the rarest items in FrontierVille. However, I have a tip for you to choose the right neighbors to accomplish this goal: try choosing the least active neighbors you have! There is a bigger chance for their homestead to be the home of Cacti and Thorns!
Also, keep an eye on recently expanded homesteads: lots of cactus plants and thorns tend to appear with the expansion. And finally, don’t lose hope – eventually, you will find all the required items and complete this goal!
Once you are done with the Search for Lost Hammer goal in the game, you will get 35XP and 1 Hammer as a reward. Check out the images below to see for yourself:
I finished this one quite a while ago. You’re advice about visiting the least active ones is great, that’s what I did and I had this quest finished up in 10 minutes (would have been quicker if my computer wasn’t so slow at the time).
I cant finish this quest, it has the same name but it requires to clear 1 neighbor skull, 1 neighbor thorn and 1 neighbor grass…the first two are checked…but the grass, I cleared twosands on my neighbors, and it doesnt count. can someone help me please
