Finally, the last mission of the Headless Horseman series is here in FrontierVille, and you’ll have to deal with the intruder once and for all in the Headless Part V Rest in Pieces Mission : “It’s time to defeat that horrible Horseman once and for all! Use the Ghost Cannon, blessed powder and bloody cannonball to blow him back into the afterlife. Then sanctify the Graveyard by collecting his severed head.”
In other words, you need to do the following in order to complete the Rest in Pieces mission:
- Defeat the Headless Horseman
- Finish the Graveyard
How to defeat the Headless Horseman? Simply use that Ghost Cannon and blow it to bits!
After you’re done with it, the Horseman will drop items required for finishing the graveyard building. Good luck!
What do you think about this new series of FrontierVille missions? I found them extremely cool!
Stuck !!…Crash…Freeze….Rubbish !…..Why do they bring these new awesome features if all it does is totally mess up the game ?….My gaming with Zynga was brilliant until this new set of missions…and then its all messed up half the mission completed and it skips to the end and awards the mission to me on mission 4 even tho i didn’t scare the headless horseman at all on the neighbours plots cause he never apeared dwspite me visiting about 30 neighbours !..so them i think ok well fair enough…and now it wont load all morning to go through to the next mission 5 !!…so what was the point ?….Oh well….guess patience is a virtue.
i think im running out of patience cos the fun is going from this game for me and ive done all ive been asked ,,,,,,,,,,,remove frontierville then reboot and get the app again ……remove all the clothes from the family cos it seems the costumes cause lag and 10 times threw all the lag ive killed the horseman and lost internet connect as many times
Same as Trudy..cant get to mission 5, I get Fannys message and the internet connection is lost..8 times now..its getting way beyond a joke..aaarrggghhhhhhhhhh!!!
all this does is says refresh.. all issues.. has taken days and so many hours just to simple things ……. why isnt someone looking into these issues… this game is starting to not be fun and why play anything that you cant enjoy anymore

I agree with all of you. Why do they start something to get us going and then we can’t finish it. I am getting sick of seeing we’ve lost internet connection. I can’t do anything on Frontierville because of it. Damned headless horseman.

this glitch needs to be fixed asap i havent been able to get it for 4hrs know!! is there any word yet on when it will be fixed??
Is anybody taking care of this bug?!… It was annoying when we didn’t have new missions but at least we could “hang” around the farm, it was annoying when we couldn’t find the horseman on the farms of our neighbors but still we could play… but now is beyond annoying…
I give up!!! Same problem as everybody else…this is ridiculous!

hey folks finally finished and saw this message..thought you might like a giggle…Howdy Partners, some players may be experiencing intermittent issues with FrontierVille. We are actively working on a solution, and appreciate your patience while we resolve the problem. 12 and a half hours after i started trying…i dont class that as intermittent..sheesh, I hope you other folks are up and running again..its a shame really cos i was really enjoying those quests until the intermittent (2days worth of problems) started..lets hope they sort these probs out properly before the next set of quests.
has anyone been able to actually finish this mission yet? ive been trying to complete for a while now and no joy. ive managed to kill the horseman but then it says ive lost my connection and i have to refresh.
I’m so fed up with the games on FB. Every time they do anything new it is sure to screw up.
I wrote them a couple weeks ago and every other day I got a different person responding and they did nothing. Waste of time. They always blame it on everyone else, it’s the browser, it’s the flash, it’s facebook, it’s your computer. What b.s. it’s Zynga. Funny when they fix it on their end suddenly it’s working fine.
It works for a few days then suddenly it is down to a crawl, my avatar is always a white ghost. Sometimes the family is too. Use to take about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes to load, now it takes 3 or 4 minutes. Then another minute or more for loading the neighbors and finishing the assets. Use to take at least one minute to load a neighbor now it’s 3 or 4 minutes. Sometimes it’s running in slow motion. My avatar is moon walking. Often there is no bonus window when the neighbor opens. Well you all have the same problems. Funny thing, the ads on the side always open right up when nothing else is working. If I’m not mistaken those are flash too. The begging to make us buy horseshoes, has no trouble popping up.
If only Zynga would care that we are having so many problems. But no they act like you’re trying to get something for nothing, or cheating or lying to them. Or they don’t read oh well screw it waste of time.
I got to the final mission…..with much difficulty after the loading problems. I blew up the headless horseman with the ghost cannon and it didn’t drop the head. Now I can’t finish my graveyard. Anyone know what to do? Thanks
I finally got to mission V, was going to get rid of the Headless Horseman, when I got this message after pushing ‘Fire Cannon’:
“Deag Blarg it! You needs a target!”
I don’t understand. The headless horseman is over there!!!

I am currently on level 5 of the Headless Horseman. After it takes forever to load, the letter I need to click on is gone. Can’t do anything until I read the letter. Where’d it go?! Very frustrating. I can’t harvest any crops, feed animals, fire the cannon until I read the invisible letter!! I’ve played using different browser, so I don’t think it’s a browser issue. If I can’t do anything, all my darn peanuts are going to die!!

and i can’t complete level 5 because the headless horseman never came back on my frontier, what do i do to get him to come on my farm ? i can’t blast the cannon and thus finish the graveyard without him being on my frontier
Apparently nothing is being fixed. For the 4th day I can’t play at all. It takes forever to open then a couple minutes to load the ‘assets’ then the neighbor picture don’t load, and the avatars are still white nothings. None of the cool Halloween costumes are showing at all. This is day 8 of the game not working. Constant lost connections, can’t visit neighbors, can’t hire anyone. Can slowly accept helps and harvest or feed animals. But that is not everyday. Very sad cuz it is so very cute and clever when it did work a little. I managed to finish the headless horseman and graveyard but what fun is it if Halloween comes and goes and we still can’t play or enjoy the cool graphics they have. What about the guys that can’t finish the horseman. This just is stupid and it sucks.
Have done everything in level 5 of headless horseman he dropped his head i clicked on it but i am still not able to finish graveyard! Have everything except head
this game sucks, Im tired of it. you lose internet connection through out the game. I bought FV dollar to expand and It didn’t expand it gave me another mission to expand again. you lose all of your crop waiting on game to connect. It take to long to clear the land to build your farm you don’t get enough energy, it take to long to chop down one tree. this game is not worth the headach.
