With Bess coming to FrontierVille, we will have three new missions to complete and the first one will be titled Here Comes Bess. In this article I will share with you all the details about the Here Comes Bess mission – I have just updated it with all the details, so read on!
The official description of the mission reads: “Her heart broken by a two-timin’ rodeo clown, Bess needs money for a ticket West and a place to stay – like your barn. Let’s get ready!” In other words, here is what you need in order to complete the Here Comes Bess Mission in FrontierVille:
- Have 1,000 coins
- Have or craft 20 planks
- Move 10 cows
I have already given you hints about these requirements and I am sure you’ll have no trouble meeting them. Have in mind that for the last requirement, you can move a single cow ten times and you’re done!
After completing the Here Comes Bess mission, you will be rewarded with 3 cows and 25 XP. Here are the images of the mission (before and after):
i did the badge mission about the clicking … the one where you clicked all those stars.. what was i supposed to get for that.. i dont think i got any thing
I am on the third challenge of Bess – I need to hire her. But I cannot find her anywhere on my frontierville to be able to click on her to hire her. Where is Bess indeed!!!

Hey guys. Bess is standing next to the barn, just like Hank is standing next to the General Store!
She’s by the barn, but if the barn is next to another building, you won’t be able to find her. I had to find the answer here and then move the barn . Very annoying.
I still can’t find bess…my barn is all by itself and she is nowhere to be found
I still can’t find bess either, it’s really annoying me now. I have moved the barn into the open and spun it in circles, exited the game and gone back in and still no mythical bess! I dont think they want us all to complete these missions!
Someone actually told me that she can be INSIDE the barn as well. Whether this is true or not, I have no idea. But I’d say that it’s worth a look. Good luck!!!

No Bess, tried moving the barn, ringing the bell, reloading the game, still no bess.

Bess was there yesterday (1/13/11), but now she is gone. What happened?
same here bess was there for two days , n 2day she is no where to be found …
I can’t find her either, moved my barn, looked inside, did everything everyone else said, still, no Bess. Where in the heck is she? LOL
try uninstalll the game and install it back worked for me Bess is back !!!

I just used my mouse to hover over my barns and it turned out Bess was there u dont need to move the barn as if u find her u can still hire her without moving anything.
Bess is next to my barn, I am unable to hire her though. When I click on her it just says talk to Bess, can anyone help

i still can’t find Bess.. i moved my barn and everything! but i haven’t tried to uninstall the game because won’t it start me back from the beginning?? HELP! i really need to hire her!

@Nanna, Not sure about the uninstall thing but, If you have the dinner bell or the Chapel Bell you can click on it and ring it. This will bring all of the People on your frontier together.
@Jay King – Thanks for helping. But i dont have neither dinner bell or the Chapel Bell. Dont have any clue what to do now. I have 2 missions where i need to hire Bess. I think it is really odd.
i am a daily player on frontierville and i am doing the bess missions ive got to hire bess but as you guys ^ ^ ^ from thee above have said shes nowhere to be seen, ive tried moving the barn , hovering over it with me mouse, ive refreshed the frontierville game numerous times, and ive logged out of my face book but still no signs of bes WHERE IS SHE???? ( soo annoying ) even more annoying i.e i’m not going be able complete (TROUBLE ON THE TRAIL MISSIONS) now…

ok im doing the mission little piggie 1 and it is telling me to hire bess it says she will be next to the barn or unlock for 15 horseshoes i can’t find her anywhere?any advice?
Hello I had the same problem as you, i mean i had to hire Bess, but she didnt stood around the barn. But suddenly i finish a mission (dont remember the name of it, but it was pretty new) and when i completed the mission, Bess came. So my advice, take it slow, and finish some of the other mission, and i bet she will come around

I’ve finally found Bess, her goals showed up right after I completed the “prepare a crib” goal (or whatever it’s called lol) Hopefully that will help

If I’m not mistaken, the mission before that one is to get married — immediately after getting married, you begin the “baby” missions…
I, too, was having problems getting Bess to appear — I tried EVERYTHING; as soon as I built a crib for baby, BAM! There, she was! Good luck!
after i got married the “baby” missions didn’t show up and i need to hire bess what should i do?
The mission “Prepare To Build A Crib” solved the Bess problem for me. Now she’s there.
People i was also unable to find Bess anywhere but then i build my barn still she was nowhere to be found but try collecting bonus from your barn and Bess will appear no need to load, reload, uninstall, logout the game or anything simply collect bonus from barn…. it worked for me
