A pretty nice new feature has gone live in FrontierVille within the Love Is in the Air event that has brought us 7 new missions in the game: the Hitchin’ Rail and the Wedding Wagon where you can craft wedding items in order to get Hank married with Fanny. Even more, a Wedding Store is coming soon according to Zynga, so it might not be the last wedding we’re seeing on the Frontier!
But until then, let’s see what’s the deal with this Hitching Rail and Wedding Wagon and we’ll start the guide with the simplest part of them all: the Hitchin Rail. You will get this item in placement mode as soon as the mission series appears in FrontierVille and you’ll have to whack it three times to complete it (no other building parts are required, fortunately!). Then you will see that it has two options: the regular Collect Bonus and the Call Wagon one:
Selecting the second option will bring you the Wedding Wagon inside which you will be able to craft all sorts of items required for the mission series. Here is a list of items and requirements that you can collect inside the Wedding Wagon:
- Polished - requires 30 Rough Gemstones & 3 Gem Polisher. Rough Gemstones are obtained by performing actions on your homestead, ask your friends for Gem Polisher
- The Ring – requires 3 Gem Polisher & Ring Band (you get it by completing mission 3 in the new series)
- Posies – require 5 Red Rose Buds (Chapel Collection) and 5 Silver Candles – you can also ask your friends for them
- Arrangement - requires 1 Vase and 2 Posies (Vase is obtained from completing mission 1)
- Twill - requires 30 Cloth and 1 Shears (Sheep Collection)
- The Suit – 5 Twill and Armadillo Shoes (you get them from completing mission 5)
Pretty difficult to create these items in the Wedding Wagon, but I am sure you will do your best to do it since it’s for a noble cause!

Hi got to part 6 last night was kicking butt on it. had to wait on rose’s so i sent hank to ask frannie and she said yes BIG mistake. lost the suit when he did that now can’t finish the mission with out using horseshoes to buy the shoes again and i am not going to do that. waiting to hear back from them on they are going to fix this problem. FRIENDS WAIT UNTIL PART 7 TO HAVE HANK ASK FOR HER HAND

Wow! I think there is a good bug out there right now… I got the ring and the suit WITHOUT crafting them!! When I click to claim an item from a feed from a friend, both items popped up at the bottom as an option to take under the “Or Take That Part You Need” section! Woohooo!
I don’t have a “Hitching Rail” I bought a “Hitching Post (Horse tie-up) for 2 Horseshoes… was a waste! The rail & the post are NOT the same thing! Looked through my inventory & don’t see it there either… Not sure why some of us got it & some didn’t!
I hope this glitch is fixed soon! Can someone post a pic of it so we know what we are looking for?

Having problem receiving mints from friend request, i get the first one and then it says I have too many gifts. Went to farm and sold the limit for the day. Went back, received one, then said I had too many. Have lost several!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I not only don’t have a hitching rail, I don’t have a ‘Bess’ gal either & I have a barn, its been built for a month or more… stuck in some of my quests & missing things so I can’t get any further.

Just talked to a guy from customer support. He said the reason I don’t have the Hitching Rail is because I need to complete more missions. Once I complete more missions it should appear in the building menu in the market. Hope this information helps.
well, ive found out by sending an email to frontierville/zynga. they told me i needed to complete a few missions ; the ones that i didnt have ready were the expand the general store missions .

I completed a lot of missions and still have not seen the hitchin rail or wedding wagon & i need it to complete the hank’s special sauce mision. How do i get the hitchin rail and wedding wagon?! I can’t find Hitchin’ Rail menu!!!!! I don’t get injured animals or robin eggs for over a week even though I chopped all my big trees down. I don’t get groundhogs to finish a mission even though I have been planting all sorts of crops. Anyone can answer?

Did anyone in customer support mention at all which missons have to be done before that rail shows up? One problem that I have with frontierville is all these missons show up and they just pile up. You need like a ton of neighbors and a lot of commitment to get anything done. At least that’s the problem I’ve seen. My hitchin’ rail hasn’t shown up either. I don’t have much faith in customer service, so if anyone has gotten anything other than the extremely vague, b.s. brush-off of an answer than “complete more missons”. I’d be helpful to share.
One thing I’d also like to know is if Fanny has shown up yet for the people who haven’t gotten the rail. She’s not shown up on mine yet and maybe that’s what I’m waiting for.

I hit enter before I meant to. I’m at the Make Fanny’s Schoolhouse Rock misson (the one where I have to summon the wedding wagon) and I just wanted to clarify. Do you mean the lessons inside the schoolhouse or the ones on the sides of the screen?

It does exist, to a point. I had to bug customer service for about a week and it showed up in my inventory. Be relentless and let them know that it’s not showed up.

Ok, so I started the ‘Hankerin for Fanny’ Missions, and i might’ve gotten the htchin rail in placement mode, but i think i exited off without seeing it. What do i do??? I’m stuck! I’ve completed more missions, but it hasn’t done any good. I don’t know how to contact Zynga either. I’ve searched the market a billion times! I bought the dumb ‘Hitchin post’ and lost two horseshoes! How do i get the rail? How do i contact Zynga? I need step by step instructions, if anyone has them.

Ok for those that did not get the hitchin rail when you received this quest and can not find it in the market its b/c it’s not called “hitchin rail” in the market. I didn’t receive one either and searched looking for awhile then in the building section i found Wedding Wagon (looks like a post). I decided to buy it since it was only 1000 coins and a few wood. It takes 3 more whacks 7 wood each and bam i can summon the wedding. Buy the wedding wagon in the building section and you’ll be good to go.
Finally! It appeared in the building menu!!! Now i can do the next part!!! Wooo hooo!
