Despite the Oregon Trail-related lawsuit, Zynga is still working hard to deliver us the upcoming and highly anticipated expansion and starting today we can see that in FrontierVille as well: the Oregon Trail sign on our homesteads has been once again updated and it looks like this:
If you click it, you will see the map of the Oregon Trail and notice the few destinations that we’ll travel to before reaching Fort Courage: Beaver Valley, High Plains, Avalanche Pass and finally Fort Courage.
If you don’t have this on your homestead yet, it might be because you haven’t completed the McBaggins series of missions – if so, I think you should hurry up to complete them because The Oregon Trail could go live anytime!

My sign has looked like that for quite awhile now, and when I clicked on it, I saw that map for quite awhile now, also. So, all I can say is; Hello? LOL

It has been this way for quite some time now, if I remember correctly, the map was/is added to the sign as soon as you finish all 12 OT missions. (you get one map piece for each completed mission)
Well, if you had seen any of the forums or other Zynga info, it is my understanding that the Trail is scheduled to roll out the first stage on the 31st. (I cannot see this bogus lawsuit being much of a hindrance since, as has been stated many times, the Oregon Trail is a fact in history, not just a game name made up and ‘stolen’.) well, where is it???? Today is to be the day and nothing. I have been in front of my computer ALL day and still nothing. I really hope this thing is worth the wait!
Well, here we are – a week into the month of June, and still nothing. I’m starting to wonder if this has all been a waste of time. The lawsuit is ridiculous, but it shouldn’t stop Zynga from releasing a game. Please keep us informed.
I finished the McBaggins quest a long time ago and never got the sign…what happens now? Do I still get to play the new Trail game…what ever the name will be.
