One moment that we were all eagerly anticipating in FrontierVille, the launch of Fort Courage section of the Pioneer Trail, managed to become a real disappointment and also managed to enrage most of the players who are now really considering that changing the game’s name with this expansion wasn’t really worth it.
Either way, pardners, Fort Courage is here and even though there’s not much to do about it, you can at least complete the Pioneer Trail and start over if you think there’s any point in doing that. As a side note, from somebody who has completed the Pioneer Trail and finished Fort Courage, make sure to use up all rations before going there because when you start over your trip on the Pioneer Trail in FrontierVille, you will only start with 10 rations.
After traveling to the Fort Courage section, you will see immediately the Gratchet Gang and you’ll save Ezekiel.
Then you’ll find yourself in front of Fort Courage, but there won’t be much for you to do than to restart playing the Trail. Which really makes me wonder why did Zynga delay the launch of this area for so long… guess we’ll never know!
Are you disappointed as well about the Fort Courage or you’re just happy that you completed the Pioneer Trail?
Well how about that then i have tried to head out to the fort and it still ain`t available seems some players always get stuff first
I have been stuck in the Avalance Pass since August 24Th, and this is all we get from Fort Courage. It was released yesterday, and I still cant get in. But who really cares if this is all we get for waiting. Zynga had better come up with something fast, or I think everyone will quit. I already quit most of their games, so this wont be the first. But it will be THE LAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just great! There goes even more of my neighbors. If you look at my neighbor bar now, 2/3rds are ?s. If you go to the get neighbor link on this site, you can get more neighbors, but most only play a short time before they get terribly frustrated and quit. (2 week average). I think the development department at Zynga needs to be swapped out with actual game players.
wow i am disappoint i whas looking to do the last part of fort courarage but nothing to do for me only replay grgrg i dont do that so i am don now .

The seem to be developing the Homestead section of ” Frontierville” I see no point in calling it “Pioneer Trail” as zynga could not even develop a fitting climax to the story
I know its not April 1st but maybe that would have been a more appropriate date to open Fort Courage.

Finally got into Fort Courage. According to the forums, if you start over, you keep your rations. But if you start over, can you still come to Fort Courage to work on the collections, or do you have to work your way back? It is bad enough that I have collections on the trail that I did not complete. Does anyone know?????????????????????????????????
I had hopes that the game will improve, but with this …(F. C ) lunch wow, total dissapoint! I already quit farmville, citiville etc, am I tired of games…..? No, I am tired of Zynga games. I am playing social sims and it is a lot more interesting.

What was the point in all of that rubbish? You finally get to Fort Courage and absolutely nothing to do. I thought there would be missions from there. Then when it said you start over I thought,well surely you keep all of your rations, but not that either.

I started over and kept everything except my meat, medicine, and parts that are collected by your crew. I also lost my trail points but did keep my prize tickets. It does seem easier to blast through the missions. The hidden missions all pop up almost immediately. It does look like you get more trail points when you are doing stuff but can’t remember how fast I got them before.
You do have to hire new crew.
You can return to the Fort at any time. You do not have to wait till the end again.
What a complete waste of time – I thought it wasn’t working properly! What the wait??? And I was going to buy a torticoon before I went to FC and now I have to finish the quest again to be able to to buy it? Sorry just can’t be bothered doing the same thing over again. Common Zynga – this is a pretty pathetic effort!!
Does anyone know of a good place to find some more neighbors?? I am still on the high plains because most of my neighbors have quit playing and without neighbor help it takes FOREVER to finish anything on it. I used to be caught up on everything till it got harder to accomplish and people just quit the game…
Brandy, I have a large group of friends that are always looking for new neighbors. If you add me, I can add you to the group I have created and you can post for neighbors and my friends will gladly help you out. Make sure to add that you got this message.

I’m disappointed in Pioneer Trail also. It was really not worth all the hype that Zynga had made it out to be. Zynga should have improved Frontierville by allowing more homestead space (i.e. 43×43 or 45×45). If they keep adding more buildings to be put on the homestead, I think the least they should do is put more land out. Me personally, I like going and rearranging my homestead to accomodate the new buildings. Sorry Zynga…this Pioneer Trail will only get one visit from me. I don’t think I’m up for another bumpy ride in the slow wagon to Ft. Courage.

what a disapointment..made it to Fort Courage nothing to do there..I don’t see any reason to replay the trail… it wasn’t all that exciting the first tme,I only finished it to make it the Fort,what a joke..plus I didn’t spend my prize tickets before leaving the trail so I llost all of them

I was disappointed when Fort Courage opened up especially having to wait all those weeks, just to get something that sends you back to the beginning. Having to repeat the whole lot all over again.. well I wont be doing that lot a 2nd time. i got bored with it the first time round.. I dont get the point in having to do the whole lot all over again… what going to happen when get to Fort Courage a 2nd time.. is just going to be the same process over and over again.. BORING!!!!!
DISAPPOINTMENT isn’t even they right word!!! I feel like a TOTAL GOOF!! Getting sucked in for all of their hype starting last Spring!! I TRULY THINK ZYNGA IS CRAZY!!! All of the hammers I begged for and sent, the food missions “supposedly” rumored to be for the OREGON trail!!!

I AM a stupid FOOL for continuing to put up with it. Zynga better wake up as I, as well as MANY others play many OTHER games that run quicker are fun, cost MUCH less and like I said they are NOT ZYNGA. well yes i was rally disappointed in it after all the hard work an d time that was spent and when we got to the fort i for one didnt even get the prizes for doing the mission i dont know if anyone else did or not and i think it should have had something starting back home mission instead of starting all over which i didnt so we put all the time in getting the chuck wagon and the coins and stuff we had to use. and now we cant even use the chuck wagon unless its going to be in up coming missions thank u

the homstead seems to be developed so at least thats a good thing zynga needs to reward players to keep them something like 50 horse shoes for completing the trail would have been fair

What a joke.. I used horseshoes to get through more quickly and then we wait forever for Fort Courage and get ripped off in the end! I have quit Farmville and Cityville. Frontierville may be next if they don’t get it together.
Victoria Lord, I agree with everything you said! Plus may I add that I didn’t make 900000 trail points or however many you need to unlock things to buy before I moved on to Fort Courage. I didn’t KNOW I should have stayed and gathered more trail points before I left… I was so close too. Unless somehow the new points you earn get added to the old points. I don’t know anything. I am so discouraged by this game. We have all been fooled, but I feel they have been fooling us for a long time. It’s just getting worse now. I am so fed up that even though they are offering horseshoes for 50% off, I am not even tempted. Even if they were 90% off, I wouldn’t be tempted. When I think of it, they must be getting desperate to offer them half price… serves them right.
