Officially launched just four days ago, Zynga’s FrontierVille didn’t manage to escape the curse of the “just released” social game: the game is plagued by performance issues, loading problems and connection errors, and many players unfortunately find themselves pulled back because of the already classic Vermint 28 errors (which apparently is related to some connection problems).
I’m sure that you’re wondering how to fix these performance issues of FrontierVille and unfortunately I have some bad news: you can’t. However, Zynga knows about the problems and promises to fix all the issues as soon as possible and help us enjoy their latest game and get the most out of it. Here’s what Zynga had to say about the FrontierVille performance issues:

I have been playing this game since Sunday June 12th and I love love love this game. I have over 1/2 of my farmville friends (which by the way are also coworkers) with me playing this game & they love it as well. My problem which is what is going to stop my husband and me from playing this is those internet connection problems. I wouldn’t mind it so much but after you have spent all your energy and time playing the game & leveling up that message comes on & when the game reloads you have lost everything and THAT SUCKS!!!! I’m sorry that I will not be playing this game anymore but trust me it was a great one…Thank you for the effort..
my frontierville won’t load. it’s stuck on the loading page and i’ve tried reloading it for last hour.
My computer totally freezes while I am trying to load it. I am so frustrated. I have only been able to play the game a couple of times without it freezing up and or not being able to load at all. I have to reboot my computer each time. I am ready to just quit trying to play it. I have enjoyed what little time I have had playing it. But then it freezes up and I have to reboot because I cant do anything else. I understand there will be issues with any new game but this is rediculous. I have decided not to even try to load it again. I am tired of having to reboot. I think it would be a good game if the kinks were worked out and I think they should have been worked out before it ever came to facebook. I am just very frustrated and tired of the downfall of the game. Please fix it before you decide to put it on facebook. Rebooting is hard on my computer every time I try to play.
I have a bear that it one wack away from being killed, however every time I try to wack him my computer freezes! I’ve tried to wack the bear on several other computers and they all freeze!
For all those having problem with computer freezing. Just push Ctrl + Alt + Del and choose Task Manager. You will see Internet Explorer and Adobe Flash Player. Kill Adob Flash Player then go back to you Internet Explorer and do a refresh ” F5 “. It works for me without to have to reboot. I have Windows 7 + Internet Explorer 8.
Hi, a bear showed up while I was chopping wood. Ive scared it off about 10 times and on the 10th time clicking on it the whole game froze. I restarted and refreshed the page and the bear is still there in a corner and everytime I click on it again to scare it the whole page freezes again! .. what can I do? please fix this issue, Alexys
I am having trouble as my cursor and the game pointer are not in sync so I can’t click on things. Anyone else having this trouble? I’m having the same issue with Tribe too
I am not able to open gifts, chores, anything except “send gifts”. Also can only do some activities and not others on my town. The red highlighted trees cannot be chopped and chicken coop won’t open. Frustrating..the rest of it is a lot of fun tho.
I am also having a problem with the cursor and game pointer not being in sync. I usually use Google Chrome, but the problem persists with Foxfire and Internet Explorer. This problem started just a few days ago.
This issue also affects my Farmville game, but not Cafe World.
Because of this issue, I cannot visit friends, or access my inventory or gifts.
I was starting to really like FTV but hardly play it now. Same with FV, it’s just not worth the frustration.
I really enjoy playing this game and I think it is great! Although just recently the bottom of the sreen has been cut of, which leaves me unable to visit neighbours, go to the market, get gifts and access my inventory. Previously I just reclicked and it would come up fine but it seems that no matter what I try at the moment it just won’t come up. This is beginning to get really annoying.
I have a mac computer if that has anything to do with it but I doubt it. Please fix this issue before I get completely frustrated.
Getting annoyed with the Email part, Ive been trying for a horse and I can’t get one. Im experiencing ghosting issues, connection resets and missing friends.

My FrontiersVille is so slow that it is impossible to play it. I can visit my neighbors without any slowness by when I am on mine it is so slow that it isn’t enjoyable to play.
This game started off with such promise, challenges and good fun. Then as usual it went on a go slow and now it is virtually impossible to play, you click on something then there is a huge delay then nothing then the coins come up but you cant click on them to collect them, its got to the point where i cant play it anymore. This was the first game i was tempted to buy horseshoes to get on with this game. Boy am i glad i didnt! why is there nowhere where you can let the people who write these games know whats going on. Sort it out or dont bother doing them if they are going to be too slow to play. It was fine at the beginning, so whats gone wrong???
My beef is that I will do a lot of work on the farm, get points etc and when it reloads it goes back to what it was before…. It sucks when you spent time rearranging all of your animals and then you need to do it all over again. I had got up one level but when it reloaded I was a level lower so I had to do all the work again to get my level back. This is screwing the game for me. What I do now is go to a neighbors after I do my work and if I can get to my neighbors it usually means the game is keeping track of my work.
This needs to be fixed fast!!!
i have the school marm goal: buy a second covered wagon and get the schoolhouse daily bonus 2 times. so i bought a second covered wagon and if i hover over with the mouse it says: covered wagon: 0/0 wacks (click to whack:1 food).this is similar to a building althou normally a covered wagon doesen’t need to be wacked. so if i wack it nothing happened. i can’t customise it,can’t go inside or collect bonus. i tried to sell it several times and buy again but it is still the same. i like this game but the bugs need fixing fast
I love the game. I have a Mac and for whatever reason it freezes all the time. The cursor gets out of sync and it freezes every page in Chrome when it’s messed up. My husband has Windows and he has the occasional problem, but nothing like me. I am very close to saying “screw the game” because I am tired of it freezing up all the time. Not worth it.
Yeah, I have been playing FrontierVille for a few weeks now and then suddenly I tried opening it and my cursor is COMPLETELY off. I usually use Google Chrome, but I tried it on Internet Explorer and it was fine for a while, but then it came back again. I even tried logging into my account on different computers with the same problem. However, my husband can use his just fine, even on the same computers as me.
For the past 3 days my Frontierville will not load right in Chrome. When it does load, the cursor is off. Most of time it starts to load but the splash screen readjusts itself to a funny looking crop and the game doesn’t finish loading. I can play it IE, but much prefer Chrome. I hope Zynga fixes this soon!!!!
Is anyone else having problems with the tasks to complete? The game is not recognizing when I complete tasks, an example is the one where you need to tend to 10 baby chicks (chickens) and I have tried for almost a week and it still says 0/10 no matter what I do. and this is not the only task that is not registering – I love the game but it is getting very aggrivating…
I have had alot of problems the last few days with the cursor being really off! I was finally getting somewhere with clearing the land which took me forever since the energy runs out so fast and its nearly impossible to get anything done because of it. I am getting really agigtated because this is the first game app on facebook that i have liked in a LONNNNG time and i havent gotten tired of it yet other than the annoying cursor problem!!!
im a level 44, and i have never once had any of the issues you all have came across. i am however being @ a level 44 out of tasks. its been 4 days still no new tasks.. thats the only issue’s ive seen so far.
I was doing the egg collection task and was getting really fed up with day after day after day of collection on four coops and NEVER getting an egg. Then one day I signed into the game and that task had been taken away from me. I never got to finish it. Either Jack thinks I took too long to do it or the the programmers realized there’s a problem and took the task off. Now I have to collect two lanterns in the barn collection. Every day I check the barn and collect my bonus but I NEVER get a collectible. So….. is this just another waste of my time? Will Jack let me try for two or three weeks and then take just take that task away from me too? You take the frustration of these problems and add them to the constant internet resets and “a good game just got better” resets and it just makes me want to quit the game altogether.
i have sent an e-mail to zynga support regarding the silliest problem happening to me. nearly for 24 hours i cant play frontierville because my characters are missing. i have the dinner triangle but when i ring it nothing happens. nobodys there. plus i can not harvest stuff or feed animals. when i click no change, like my homestead is winter sleeping :S i also try to visit my neighbors, i click on stuff, agaiiiiin, nothing happens. i think everybody has lots of problems with frontierville but i never heard a problem like mine. pls if there are people experiencing the same problem, say something because it drives me crazy :/

i even tried different browsers ( ff, ie, google chrome and safari ) and different computers. nothinggggg changed!

This game is fun but just like Farmville and Petville, I’m only at level 20 and I’m done with it. It is ridiculous when it comes to loading, when it does load – the game is so slow that it’s impossible to visit neighbors, and collecting the same building materials over and over again is just stupid. Not to mention I use up my energy doing chores on my homestead and then it will tell me I have to refresh my page — then my energy is still all gone but my chores (hungry animals, crops, trees…) are all reset and need to be redone. My internet connection is fast, my computer is new, everything works just fine except zynga games. And yes, I’ve updated my flash … too bad they make their games such hogs that they become so slow and choppy to be played enjoyably… also too bad that they really don’t give a crap.
I LOVE frontierville. I have been playing for some time now. Sure the millions of pop up messages are annoying (especially when two pop up after you’ve ust gotten a special item from clearing land that you need to quick click on and you miss it- because you get two pop up windows telling that you need more energy and by the time it lags and you manage to X them out, you’ve missed clicking on the gift for your collection) However, this past week when I’ve tried to sign on, my cursor is completely off, making it IMPOSSIBLE to play, so I have stopped.
The cursor is about 1 1/2 inches to the north west of where my cursor actually shows it is on the screen. It’s only doing it for frontierville (i do farmireville as well) and it only does this when I use google Chrome. I am unable to access frontierville with firefox, and half the time with chrome, because shockwave flash crashes ALL the time (yes its all updated etc..) So frustrating. Too much work for a game. Sad to say i’ve stopped playing, I really liked the game!
Since i began this game, i never be able to open «My stuff». I’m lever 15 and i can’t have my husband because i can’t make a bouquet, i can’t use my gifts, can’t turn collections. Why it’s so hard to fix this icon? They can’t hire a brain to fix it? Not enough cash?
I realize I’m using a crappy netbook…but now my stinking people won’t load up unless I visit a neighbor (takes about 4 minutes to even load a neighbor’s farm) and then go back to my homestead (another 4 minutes to load). I have used Firefox and Internet Explorer and both have the same problem. I have updated java and adobe several times. Blah…anyone know what else I can do? I’m sure its my computer.
I logged on to play after getting home from work as usual and when I went to collect my bonuses I realized my Inn, School and General Store are GONE. I tried logging out and logging back in and nothing. Please tell me I don’t have to start over from scratch!! I love the game but this is horrible.
i am having trouble getting boxes to open such as inventory or my missions or any of my buildings to open
sometimes it will let me visit neighboors and sometimes not. jack doesnt show up anymore when i kill a snake or when i run out of energy. i emailed about this problem but no one ever got back to me.
Okay I am slowly losing patience today in Frontierville. I will start harvesting crops or trees and when I am finished I get Jack telling me either the game will get better if I refresh or internet connection has been lost. After getting back in I find that everything I just did has been undone!!!! As of 3 minutes ago, this has happened to me today 22 times!!! Annoying to say the least. Hopefully this is just a glitch that won’t last long. If not, I will not be doing this anymore.
when i go onto frontierville some off my buildings are missing whats wrong ?
My problem is that it will load just fine but it won’t let me feed the animals or chop any trees down.It was beginning to be fun but now i can’t do anything on my farm (UGH!!) THIS IS VERY ANNOYING AND I’M ABOUT TO STOP PLAYING! PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM!

I can get to the splash intro page, but cannot get to the game. Nothing loads. This has been going on for awhile now. I have tried several different browsers, cleared my cache, etc.
I’m having the same problem as Jackie, it only happens with my neighbors who are really high level like over 30, when i click to visit them Jack won’t move out of the way with his message of loading homestead have you there in a jiffy and I waited for over 20 minutes multiple times but it never loads and it continues to say its either on my page still on on the previous visitors page????????? Any idea what to do fix this or is this a normal error!!!

My neighbors can’t visit me anymore. I have the path and the expansion….is that why? I am also the highest one of my friends. This is terrible, my tomatoes have withered and no one can come help to unwither them.
i have completes all me missions to expand my homestead but when i go in to land office it wont let me click on expand homestead, anyone else have these issues??
I’m really getting aggrivated. Will let me in and harvest one thing then it freezes. How are you supposed to complete your missions in 11 days when you can’t even get in for 1 minute. Frontier does not load completely this have been going on for 2 days now. It freezes up. I have cleaned out my cache. So please try to get it fixed this is the only game I like to play. Thanks
Frontier does not load it has to many pop ups at the same time with the halloweens last mission it keeps telling me to refresh the page. Is anyone else having this problem for about 2 hours I can’t get on it

I absolutely love this game! However I am so tired of the constant crashes. I am constantly getting a message that my flash has crashed. I have tried two different browsers and two different computers, same thing. I would hate to stop playing, but it just is not worth the aggrevation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I don’t even get in the game, splash/load screen comes but it loading stops at ~80%.
I have used several browsers, have emptied caches/cookies/stuff, but when my sister wants to log into the game, it works fine. WTF IS GOING ON.

almost 70% of the time when i try to get onto frontierville i get “invalid url”. i’ve deleted my cookies, cleared out my cache, tried different browsers and different computers to the same result. i’ve getting very angry because i can’t complete missions on time and my crops are withering. does anyone know what causese this and/or how to fix it?

I am having the same problem, frontierville loads then straight away crashes saying that the shockwave plugin has crashed. Its getting very annoying now, ive even emailed zynga but nothing. I have unloaded and reloaded my browsers updated my shockwave, tried everything. This is only happening with Frontierville, all my other games work fine. Dont know what else to do

I have the same issue as Heather – for the past week my Frontierville screen is cut off at the bottom and right side. It loads at the correct side then immediately enlarges to the point it cuts of side and bottom, Farmville is doing the same thing.
Ever sense i got my spouse nothing but the page loads.The spouse to customize him won’t load it just sits there.I can’t do anything.It’s been about a month,and still the same thing.Farmville and the rest of my games r fine,
I keep getting bumped back to stage II of “Hank- meet the new boss”. As soon as I have applied the “cheery boost” I am notified that stage has been completed and I “SHOULD” be on my way to the next stage of this task. I have been kicked back each time to stage II-! I find this most annoying, and hope you can help me find a fix. I have used 3 different browsers, (firefox, internet explorer & google chrome). I’ve also updated my flash and cleaned cookies. I run on Windows 7 (64bit), but I have not yet run into any problems other than the “BUG” of constantly having to ‘refresh’ my page on this game “frontierville”. As soon as I am instructed to in this task,,,, I am bumped back to stage II of IV. Can you help?
I love this game but now the screen going crazy when I try and play it. the screen keep flashing on and off its is all over the places flashing bits and pieces of the screen . I impossible to play like this. Anyone else having this problem?
The only trouble I’m having is missing crops that I know for a fact I planted. Come back the next day they are gone with growing trees skulls and grass in its plays. This is cotton and with 2 different missions i’ve planted next day gone. One was a time mission so needless to say i failed the mission. Anyone else with this issue?
okay, I have really enjoyed this game, I play it every chance I can, but for some reason all of a sudden since Friday 12/17/10 when i would go to a neighbor’s homestead, a window pops up:: about “tiddy-up”", that’s fine ., then another window pop’s up saying ::: It is Jack stating ” I’ll have you there in a jiffy” ,, but all of a sudden it don’t go away, it stays stuck there, not letting me do anything on anyone of my neighbors homesteads., i’d like to know why? PLEASE correct this so i can finish playing this wonderful game., I don’t want to loose this game., I love playing it.,
I have quite a few chickens, everytime I try to harvest them from my chicken coop i go out of sync once I get the fox killed. It has done it 8 times in a row. Is anyone else having this problem? Everything else is running fine. I like the game, but not all the sync problems.
Well if they are working on the problem of the shockwave coming unplugged they have been doing it for the last few months, it seems like every time I try to play FTV the shockwave comes unplugged even after I have been play for awhile, doesn’t make any sense to me, How can it become unresponsive or unplugged when your playing???
for about a month now everytime AI harvest my fields I get internet crashed refresh when i do I loose all my food and energy even when they were there before I started I want this fixed and comp out for the loses we all have had

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the new version of Adobe Flash,I have updated my Java,Ive cleared all cookies & history,did a dskchk to make sure all my files was intact,did a system restore taking me back to before my inability to play,reset my modem,rebooted many times…Still cant get in to Frontierville
( I have tried this from 2 different computers on the same IP address. The load bar will reach 90% and then about the time when the gift box usually will pop up it just freezes & sits there. Gift box dont open either…sometimes ill get an option to send mystery gifts or something…anyways it just sits there at 90% & will not load. 
( Please help me get back into the game..I have to finish all my missions for the kissing tree ,I dont want to miss out on the animal gifts (Kissing Swans etc..) My crops have withered. For nearly 5 days the missions wouldnt hold memory and kept makin me replant crops and do them over and over again right before the inability to load the game started. The day the missions started working right ,as soon as i did my first refresh, I couldnt load the frontier 
( I also had a snowman and rock cave dissapear about a week before this. Im not worried about the snow man but would like to have my rock cave back,i paid horseshoes for it. Ive bought shoes many times & donated to cause. I took into concideration that mabee it was some sort of bug causeing it thats blocking my IP but many of my friends are experiencing the same thing also so the IP address apparently isnt the problem. I have been playing frontierville for some time now, spent a lot of cash, this game is annoying to the point that I don’t want to play it anymore. Can Zynga fix it or what? today i’m on my fourth attempt to play, keep crashing and having to reload, not fun. someone please help.
i can’t finish the get married mission, i didn’t receive another letter or mission after completing the prosperity goal. please fix it, i’m already level twenty and i can’t finish other goals without my husband.
My friend can’t get or receive any gifts an she can’t request gifts to complete missions, when he touches the send gift, an hourglass ups , an nothing happens, when she touches receive gift it acts normal but the gifts are never in her gift received area, i have redone adobe, java, reaxcessed frontierville, she is having the same issues in farmville, I feel bad she was a very active player, an she has not been able to play either game for a month now. She requested help from Zynga but got no response. It you have any ideas, besides, check the pop up, and security levels, i would welcome them.
i get frustrated playing this game it is on my nerve eveytime i go and buy a building and start wacking it out it just froze they need to remove this game if it dont work and not let people get mad
This game has gotten so bad that everyone on my group has quit playing and I ready to quit as well. It’s bad enough that performance is horrible and prevents the game from being function but the stupid pop messages continue to make it worse. Fix it or close it.
For the last 3 days I cannot request gifts off people – the screen gets th ebluebackground and freezes so I can’t finish any challenges. Does anyine have any ideas? I have downloaded latest Java and IE9 on Win 7 and it just won’t work properly…..
I am just about to the point of many others who have already given up on this game and the sad thing is that I really did like it when it was working. It takes me at least 30 minutes for the game to load and then I get that silly man telling me to refresh as connection has been lost. No, it is not my computer as I have no problems at all with other games. Only Frontierville. I have now lost 8 neighbors who have just given up playing this.
Please Zynga TAKE NOTE and fix this problem if you want anyone left playing. I am sure you can if you just take the time to figure it out.

The bottome part of my screen (just like other posts above) does not show up. Enough of the screen would show up so that I could press the full screen icon and play that way but now it has cut that off HELP!!
I also upgraded my chicken coop and it did not take. I collected all of the required items and pressed finish and then it asked me to upgrade it once again. ARG!
I can’t visit neighbors! Everytime I try, it takes forever to load then suddenly the game gives up and I get a screen with an “exclamation point” on it. Also, like most people, the game is taking forever to load. Wasn’t like that about a month ago, so what gives Zynga? And it’s not my computer. Everything is up-to-date, caches cleared, defragged, etc etc.
The bottom part of my screen does not show up. I only see the upper half, no neighbors, no option, nothing! This makes it almost impossible to do anything.

My frontierville game has the same problems i read above. Now the big problem is that i can’t publish anything. Like this is impossible to play at all. I sorry because i like the game. Are you going to fix it? PLEASE DO IT
Purchased Game Card for Frontierville and put in the code and did not get my Horshoes. I clicked on I wanted Horshoes and did not get them. Please check it out.

I had 15 pigs that i was raising to sell. As soon as they were all raised I tried to sell them. It let sell 10 of them and now I can’t do absolutely anything with the last five. I cant even click on them or anything. I’ve even tried refreshing the page multiple times. What can fix this issue??
I am having a ton of trouble! takes forever to load, then is very sluggish after it does load! turning in collections is a total nightmare, either it wont do it at all, or if it does it wont hold. Next time I get on the game, it is back to square 1! Not to mention, it freezes up my computer when I open up the collections menu! Every time with out fail!!!! Also have been losing horseshoes, have no idea where they are going. Enough is enough. Too bad because I really enjoyed the game and am at level 90. Losing friends because they are getting fed up as well, which obviously makes it harder and less fun to play! This is rediculous!

This is my favoeite game, but I am having several problems:
1. While working on the upgrade for the coral mission, I am not getting credit for the crops on my fronteir or that of my neighbors. I am on my horse while harvesting and tending crops so why am I not getting credit for them?
2. No matter what I do I have not had a single blade of grass on my Frontier for about three weeks. I have 2 different missions to complete, but are not able due to the missing grass. I have tried everything from, leaving land open and blank fir weeks, enclosing a crop area and leaving it empty after harvesting crops, leaving some crop areas with a few withered crops and empty areas, clearing wild flowers, cactus, rocks, and skeletons here and there, clearing them, ectra-ectra. Why am I not getting grass to finish my missions? This has become very frustrating instead of relaxing and fun!!!

I would assume that Fontierville’s ultimate goal is to make money. However, the game has so many peformance issues; poor UI, lack of keyboard control and inconsistancy that I can’t imagine that anyone is actually going to pay for horseshoes (which by the way, the game rips off the ones you earn). As long as it’s free I will play with it but I won’t take it serious until Zynga does. If it went away; I wouldn’t be upset.
Sick and tired of yet another game being so bug laden that playing it turns into an exercise in frustration. It was bad enough when I couldn’t open any of my friends Frontiers to help out because it caused my computer to lock up. I got so sick of that I stopped playing for about a month. I had about 80 gifts from friends so I thought I’d give it another shot to see if it had improved, only to find that it is 10X worse then ever – great job Zynga! It’s too bad, it was a fairly entertaining game idea. Oh, the hilarious part is that in order to speed things up Zynga now wants permission to load an “unlimited” amount of files on my computer! Wow, talk about audacity! Let’s see, do I want the company whose programming talents have managed to cause me to scream at my computer in frustration to have carte blanche to load an UNLIMITED amount of their crap on my system? Hmmm, maybe not! I think my Frontier will be joining my Amusement Park, my Mafia family and a couple Farms in purgatory. I suppose I should be grateful, I have no more excuse to spend hours playing these formerly addictive games.
Trying to play this evening. For Frontierville only (not Facebook Wall), my screen is vertically cut in half. The right side is blank and you can see a little of the game on the right. Therefore can’t play to accept, hire, maximise or minimise! Any ideas? Thanks <
For three days now I have only one-third of my frontierville page. I cannot accept any gifts or tend to my crops before they all wilt. Please fix before I give up on the game entirely. Thanks.
Just recently my frontierville will not load it goes to the loading page and i can hear the music and stuff but it wont load my farm and sometimes it loads my farm and just takes me back out to the home screen again.
It is getting very frustrating and I am almost ready to quit playing altogher.
I have been playing fronterville for months and I have had trouble of and on. This time I am unable to receive my gift and I am sure I have lost lots of food and points. Because I am unable to receive my gift or even play the game. I am so ready to quite playing this game. Please fixs the problem. I really enjoy playing the game.
i have been having problems with frontierville since it started, it keeps coming up saying blasted internet went quite among other issues, it is very slow in there, lags, things will not pop up for me like gifts or missions for me to see, i am about ready to quit playing because it is a pain in the you know what. and this was one of my favorite games too but they need to fix it before they do any more missions.
Zynga poor programming! Supposed fixes? Bah! The fact is the Frontierville engine is plagued with bugs and is bad coding taken to the extreme – ever heard of code optimisation Zynga? How abot swicthing Frontierville to the Cityville / Empires & Allies engine? Oh yes I forgot – that’s too much too ask when all you are focussed on is a 2.5% conversion ratio from free to paid players – shame for those poor people who actually have paid Zynga for “virtual goods”…
Pity it’s such a poor company that produced such a cool game!!!
Been playing this game for a couple of month now as I enjoyed till today! Blasted internet has occured 6 times plus when you visit friends and you post to their wall it hasn’t resulting in having to refresh and start all over again! Zinga get your head out of ya ass and sort it out otherwise my money will be getting spent elsewhere.
In total 3 hours of gameplay lost and 16 total refresh/blasted internet problems!!
I have had the above problem for the past 60 days, well as my wife who also plays this game. she
is really getting upset with this problem as she is pretty much home bound and this is the only way she can interact with her friends. please zanga get this problem fixed
When I bring up frontierville to play the town will open but most of the building and other projects that I am working on will not show up. Have planted potatoes and other farming items but they don’t show up for days at a time. This has been going on now for almost a month. Getting tired of it, almost to the point that I do’not want to play anymore.
Today the screen for the new pioneer trail came up asking me to accept. I did, and with no issues. I then proceeded to play PT for a bit and then decided to return to my Frontierville homestead. All went well for awhile, then i got a “Blasted Internet” message. Once FV reloaded, everything had gone crazy. My family characters (that I’ve had since I started playing this game) had all changed, I was now a male, my husband was a female, i still had two children, a boy and girl, but it was like everyone was reset.
As l looked closer, I realized that in actuality, my personal character (the main one that visits my friend’s homesteads), has disappeared completely. If I click to do anything, nothing happens. If I visit a neighbor’s homestead and click to do something, nothing happens, so i can’t visit my neighbors anymore. I ring the dinner bell or the church bell and all my characters show up except my main one.
I went to my family album to try and fix – my husband and children are in the album, but not me.
I’ve research this like crazy, can’t seem to find too many people with this issue or who got it resolved. I’ve tried different browsers and that doesn’t solve the problem either. Tried deleted my interenet history, just in case it was a weird glitch in a cookie, no change.
Plus, now when I go to Pioneer Trail, my main character (well, all my characters) doesn’t show either, so I can’t play that game.

Am having same problem as Lynne – cannot get on FrontierVille or Pioneer Trail. Every time game is loading, keep getting blasted internet needs refreshing error. Did not have any trouble getting on FrontierVille prior to Pioneer Trail being added. Now I can’t play either game. So disappointed as FrontierVille was my favorite.
My frontierville/frontier trail won’t load. it’s stuck on the loading page and i’ve tried reloading it for the last four days… (however! my friend succeeds doing the same om MY computer – Zynga says i need to update flash…)
Im having problems with my missions the fanny and hank honeymoon mission 2 and 3 it says to collect 2 pies i did then when i go get on at a later time it says i still have to collect them collect bonus from general store 3 times well did 5 times already and still it shows that i have not yet and with part 2 the yarn balls collected them TODAY i went to get on later and it says i have not got them yet and it upsets me because it already takes some time to collect those things …….. i love this game and i will not stop playing it but im kinda upset that i have to keep collecting them when i already did

why is it that i have a large space on the left front corner, nothing is there and it wont let me put anything in that space so i wont get skulls, grass and stuff..please fix it ty

Well, it’s a year later and then some, and Zynga’s games are STILL plagued with these issues.
The only way I can imagine a game sucking this bad is by intentional design. They do not care if you have fun, or progress. They care how many popups they can get you to accidentally click on, and how much you spam your wall and those of your friends. They don’t care if you spend a half hour watching the game load, only to see it fail and need reloading before it finishes.
I have to suspect that a p2p implementation that uses customer computers’ extra bandwidth and cpu to expand their server power would be less taxing on my PC than whatever they’re currently doing, provided of course, it was programmed by intelligent beings who care about the players more than force-feeding ads to ppl.
Since nothing else works while the PC tries to run a Zynga Flash game, multitasking and office time-killing are effectively prohibited. If you actually use your computer for anything besides Zynga games, you’ll have to choose one or the other. You can’t have both.
I have asked Zynga to provide me the min requirements for playing their games as intended, and also their recommended specs. They said my 2GHz with 1GB ram on high-speed DSL should work fine, but it doesn’t.
Someone’s head is up their ass, and I think its me, for continuing to try to play their games.
After having problems for several days of not being able to get in to actually play my favorite game,.Today when trying again I saw that I should down load adobe flash player and I tried but I couldn’t. I changed to using Chrome and had no problems with the game running until this. My next move was to uninstall Chrome and install Firefox. Well after 4 hrs things were ok then playing the homestead and the trail I got that Blasted internet interuption most of the time so no progress could be made and always at a time I was getting nice rewaed. After reading about al l the problems the new Trail is having, I have had lots of problems. When it was just Frontierville I had very little problems running the game.
For now I am done with this game.

Why can’t I visit my neighbors? Where have my building gone? Why when I am at a level as high as I am, am I being told 2 purchase storage shed, school house, etc.? I have been playing this game for over a year now and the past month it has gone 2 crap….I actually purchase horseshoes….alot…but wont be doing that anymore, until my homestead starts to actually show correctly
Most of my buildings are missing. And, guess what…they are all in my marketplace waiting for me to buy them all over again. Like that’s gonna happen. Also, can’t visit my neighbors or travel to my Trail. The game has been messed up for three days now. I used to enjoy playing Frontierville but this is too much.
