In this guide we’ll discuss about the importance of completing quests (the goals), the importance of having neighbors and, of course, tips on how to get more coins and level up fast. In other words, we’ll make it easier for you to stay ahead of your friends in FrontierVille. So let’s begin!
General FrontierVille Tips & Tricks
- Focus on completing the Goals and side quests (you can see them at the left of the screen) as they give you extra experience and rewards!
- Make sure to visit your land as often as possible, otherwise wild animals might take over!
- Use the weather to your own advantage. For example, when the weather is “Pleasant and clear” you get bonus wood, so try to focus on chopping trees.
- Log in daily to get the daily reward
- Visit your neighbors and help them to increase the chances of them helping you back. This way, you will get help on your land without having to spend energy!
- Do not hurry to remove all the grass and trees from your land. You may never know what goals require you to remove some and you’ll have to wait for others to grow…
- Send gifts to your friends. Again, this increases the chances of you getting some back!
- Click as fast as possible on the goodies that result after you perform various chores around your land: they don’t stay around for too long and you don’t want to miss an important item!
- Don’t forget to click daily on your buildings and select the “Collect bonus” option – it will give you all sorts of goodies that will help you out!
- Do not hurry to remove your withered crops. Neighbors visiting you can unwither them, so simply leave them there and ask your neighbors to visit (or simply wait for a while)
How to make more coins in FrontierVille
- Almost everything you do in the game earns you coins, so keep working and you’ll soon be quite rich.
- Remember that completing Goals earns you lots of coins
- Crops also earn you some nice profits so make sure you always have a few waiting to grow (but make sure you come back in time to harvest them, otherwise they will wither)
- The same goes for animals and trees – they are a stable source of income
- Visit your neighbors – you get bonuses from visiting and helping them!
- Click the “loot” that results from performing actions – do it quickly to fill up the bonus bar that appears in the upper right corner. Each level grants you extra coins and the higher the level, the more coins you get (which means you’ll have to constantly perform actions in order to get extra bonuses!)
How to level up fast in FrontierVille
Although you can’t really get ahead of the other players unless you’re really active, there are quite a few ways to speed up the process of leveling up. Having lots of neighbors also helps if you can visit them all, so you might wish to check out this article to get more FrontierVille neighbors. Next, it’s nice knowing that performing actions will always give you extra experience, and that’s what you need in order to level up. Goals also reward you with tons of experience, so focusing to complete them might be a nice goal for you.
Also keep an eye on your Facebook wall since many players post bonuses on their walls and if you’re fast enough, you can get quite some experience, coins or valuable items!

The pop ups that occur during this time, i.e.- need food, you leveled up, ask friends for help… blah blah is SOOO annoying and often having 5 come up one after another! I have missed out on these goodies and am not able to help my friends because I select “skip” to get them off the screen because the stupid “done” pop up stays up so long and covers up (most of the time) at the time I am to “click as fast as possible”
ALSO My questions are not HOW: but WHY are we making clothes(family to come, ourselves?) the fire?? or the planks??? i.e. planks aren’t being used to make the store, another words do we save them up for something to come??? I want to know the amount that is safe to gift to friends.
It seems to me that you still get the items even if you don’t click on them, you just don’t get the bonus. Also, if you don’t click on the last item in a collection, it won’t ask you if you want to turn it in, but if you go into the collections screen, it is there to redeem. Try it yourself, but I am sure that they are not lost!
The planks will be used to build a crib.
I can`t harvest anything on FrontierVille tonight…Also my neightbors give me gifts I need for my barn, chicken co-op, and the Inn…Seem like I never get all the gifts that they send me…Alice
if you leave the experience and coins etc. you dont get the same amount as you could have if you had picked it up. so its worth picking everything up otherwise you will only get a fraction of what you might normaly get
Make sure you “google” frontierville tips/advice often, you will find new strategies..
One I found was the Gift Glitcth where you can edit the URL after recieving a gift to recieve extra school/building/animals/meals/mystery gifts.. just follow the easy to read instructions and EVERY gift will then give 1 each of all the items I mentioned, especially handy when you need to complete a building or lesson or need energy from meals
EACH gift will be editable multiple times to recieve one each of any of the above named gifts, including all 5 building materials, all the lesson items, all 4 meals and all 4 mystery gifts as well as each animal up to ox. Trees dont work nor does any of the decorations I tried, but the 4 mystery gifts are random each time and can yeild nice items..including postcards, nice decs, and the usual boring stuff!
I have tried this and now no longer worry about energy.
Use it to buy/build 5 coops to do the chicken level-up tip, or get a herd of ox to give great food & exp/coins, ribbons and lesson items are available to do the lessons..
Quick and Easy .. all you need is gifts to be sent to you so you can multi-edit each one for loadsa gifts.
Does anyone know how to get rid of things? I accidentally clicked too quickly and acquired the extra land strip around my homestead. I also did same with upgrading general store and got the village idiot Hank hanging around. I want to go back to my nice little basic homestead – I want to:
go back to basic original general store
get rid of Hank
get rid of land expansion strip around original land
reply to jessica, unless you do not care to finish any more quests, the nitwit that comes with the upgraded general storre(hank) is part of several of them down the line… i just placed another building in front of the store and blocked him from view, then i buried him in cows,he was out of the way at least
