If you are considering rushing things out in FrontierVille (like I did) to get your Conestoga wagon and hopefully head to the Oregon Trail, let me tell you that there should be no rush: I just got my Conestoga wagon reward from finishing all the quests, placed it on my homestead and… it does nothing!
As you can see in the image below, the only options when clicking the Conestoga wagon in FrontierVille are “Move” and “Rotate” and none is too exciting:
So probably Zynga is giving us a little time to complete the missions before actually rolling out the content – and I am sure that it will happen soonish since Zynga hasn’t released many other missions or otherwise content in FrontierVille, which could mean that they’re hard at work with the Oregon Trail. I will let you know when it goes live!
God, I hope we don’t need it………..I sold mine. I figured they wouldn’t let me sell it if it was necessary. I think the “Oregon Trail” sign, which they won’t let you sell, will be the gateway to the new frontier…..I hope. =/
Jules, maybe you did the wrong thing.
I got mine, too, and went to check for it in my inventory: hovering the mouse pointer on it, it says:
“will give you a storage bonus when you set out on the Trail”
When you go into all the missions it tells you that you have till 6/30 to do them all. So i don think we will see anything from the trail til after then. Just a guess.
Has anyone else’s section at the bottom of the screen disappeared? Just wondering if it is because I finished all of them.
I had also read somewhere that the Conestoga wagon was going to be needed once Oregon Trail kicks in, but not only for bonuses, but for storage.
