A very nasty problem with FrontierVille after the land expansion is experienced by quite a few users around the world: their avatars (entire “family”, including spouse, kid and main pioneer) are missing completely from the game and nothing seems to be able to bring them back – they don’t even show up in the family album! However, there might be a fix for your problem, so don’t lose hope!
1. If only your kid or spouse is missing (they’re hidden somewhere actually), this fix will do the trick.
2. If your entire family is missing, including “you”, try cleaning the Internet cache first – this might do the trick. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
3. If it still does not work, start visiting neighbors until you find one that has avatars (the problem is apparently caused by the land expansion itself that makes the characters disappear). After finding a neighbor with avatars, click the button to go home and your family members, including you, should be there! Be patient, though, as you might need to visit up to 10-20 neighbors to find the “right” one!
These are the possible fixes for the avatars missing in FrontierVille problem. Do you have other suggestions?

every time i log in it’s the same since the expansion… at least i don’t have to look for a neighbor with an avatar -”jack” does it for me.
I haven’t done the expansion yet, but I am missing my avatars. That’s when I manage to get in without the “blasted internet went all quiet on me”I haven’t been able to play in over a week. I contacted support and they assured me it’s the game and not my computer, but nothing has changed.
SINCE THE EXPANSION MY AVATARS HAS GONE MISSING ,I TRY GOING TO PEOPLE HOMESTEAD BUT IT TAKES REALLY LONG AND BY THE TIME I GET BACK TO MINE IT ASL U TO REFRESH THE PAGE,ITS DAYS I COULD NOT PLAY AND IM MAD AS HELL I LOVE THIS GAME PLZ HELP

Gen….like you MY avatar is missing. It’s very frustrating! Ever since the Pioner Trail started I’m having problems. I have not had my avatar in a couple days now so can do nothing on the new trail. I can harvest/feed on my homestead with my spouse but my avatar is no where to be found. I’ve tried to email Zynga but their customer service page is screwed up also and you can’t actually send them an email. GGGRRRRRRR!!!!
Michelle…It seems like we have the identical problem…I was able to chat to a zynga person but after trying everything they said it still doesnt work. They said I will advance in the queue. That was 3 days ago. I have just started another facebook so I can play the pioneer…not as much fun..but I will keep playing just in case my avatar doent come back. Good luck
