Howdy, pardners! You’ve read the title right and I’m not joking: you can get early access to the FrontierVille Pioneer Trail right now without any phoney business, just by using a back door that I am 100% sure that Zynga intentionally has left out!
WARNING: Before attempting this otherwise safe thing, have in mind that you won’t be able to stay on the Pioneer Trail for too long (you’ll get a Blasted Internet error message) and it’s very possible that your progress won’t be recorded. Also, after the Blasted Internet error message, you won’t be able to enter the Pioneer Trail again (until officially released, that is)
Now here is what you need to do if you want to unlock early the Pioneer Trail in FrontierVille:
1. Go to the game requests on Facebook (as in the image below):
2. Find an invitation to spend the night at the Inn L’Amour and accept it.
3. You will see a new screen with a new message – accept it and you will be taken to the Pioneer Trail!
After you do this and you’ll eventually get disconnected, you won’t be able to repeat this trick, so make sure you make it count! Thanks Sharon for sharing this tip with me!

Did you make sure to do it through the game option and not ZMC? Also did you get the “Go there now” (or words to that effect) option?
Yes, I accepted it in facebook not the ZMC and I chose the option ‘Visit now Dag Nabbit’ or something like that

It worked for myself and my husband on his account also. Perhaps it has to do with what server you’re on?
What servers are you guys using who have gotten on the Frontier Trail through the invitation to the inn, trick? I’m using Google Chrome.

it didn’t wor for me i pushed the visit now dag nabbit and just landed on my neigbours space.

When you click on the sign for the trail it shows you the map. The bottom says accept but doesn’t do anything yet.
Not sure what server I’m on, but the browser shouldn’t affect access. As soon as the loading screen processed I was on the PT with five tends (as if visiting my neighbor). I was able to tend a few items (trees, debris, bushes, new plants were all clickable). If anyone does manage to get in, make sure to move quickly and take a look around because you’ll be frozen out in less than ten minutes.

I’ve just seen some confirmations that a few other people have managed to grab their 5 mins on the Trail
It’s a shame that everyone can’t get a look yet though.

someone sent me a request to go stay at their inn and when i clicked on it it gave me the option to visit later or now..i did the now and it took me to the traill….it looks exciting
Did ya see that purdy PIONEER TRAIL picture on the way in? There’s a big ol’ game expansion comin’ very soon! Check back often so you can start your adventure as soon as the Trail is open!

I’m on now but can only visit the neighbor who’s Inn request I clicked on. The go to your trail button does not work. (I’m using Chrome) Well, back to the other tab to check it out more.
finally got on the pioneer trail…love it, i cant wait till it comes out for real!!
Backdoor is closed. Doesn’t go to trail anymore, goes to regular homestead.
When is zynga releasing PT? We’ve done what they asked, and yet no access. and are they going to give a staggered release as they did with the last expansion mission? Which made no sense to me. I am levels ahead of a friend of mine and have been playing longer, yet he gets most of the missions days before I do.
I just sold 35 adult ducks today for one of the missions. You guys didn’t record my sold ducks. I am down to 2 and lost 35 of them…now that really sucks. Also, the part that we don’;t have neighbors and have to re-invite t hem again is redicules. Right now I am not happy with the game at all. How am I suppose to finish my missions in Homestead and I can’t get to my neighbors because I don’t HAVE ANY!
