Actually, there’s not too much to say about this matter: in order to get more tools in FrontierVille, you need to have a neighbor come by your homestead, help you with some chores and then share the tool bonus with you – you will have, in turn, to click the wall post to actually get the tools!
Alternately, you can get more tools in FrontierVille by completing collections: the General Store Collection rewards you with 2 extra tools, while the Crafting Collection gives you 3 tools.
Finally, getting hired by your friends can also give you some extra tools, again if they decide to share the bonus and you click the wall link posted by your friends.
You shouldn’t ignore tools, since they are required to complete certain goals!
I always send the tools after visiting my neighbors and have also accumulated many of my own, but have yet to find out what they’re good for. Also, the sledge hammers, how can one utilize them?
