Howdy, pardners! Today I want us to discuss a very interesting topic regarding the number of missions released in FrontierVille by Zynga and the time the developers give us to complete the missions. Before saying my mind and you letting us all know what do you think, here is a message I have received from Emily:
“Hello FrontierVille Info. I am frustrated and disappointed with how things are going in FrontierVille and the missions released by Zynga that oblige us to beg and beg for items and don’t allow us to progress otherwise. I am a very active player, logging in at least once per day but I don’t have that many real friends playing FrontierVille. I don’t want to add strangers just to get neighbors and you can see the result in the image below. It is frustrating and discouraging and really disappointing. Can Zynga fix this problem to us, regular people who have a life to live?”
And here are the images sent over by Emily:
As you can see, there are quite a bunch of unfinished missions there! To many really active players, it might seem strange to see this many missions, but I assure you that it’s not. After the week off I took last week, I must admit that missions started to pile up on my homestead too, not to mention the fact that I have already blocked FrontierVille from appearing on my Facebook wall because the requests received from everybody were completely destroying my experience with Facebook and hiding completely the posts from my friends. So maybe it’s time Zynga found a different way to make these missions challenging, other that just asking us to beg for thousands of items, as Emily said!
What do you think about this? Is Zynga releasing too many missions too fast with too many requests to be sent over? Can you still handle it?
