Probably one of the most annoying problem in Pioneer Trail (excluding the Blasted Internet! one) is the one in which your neighbors are not showing and you feel all alone there on the Trail. This one’s similar to the main character not showing and Zynga is aware of it and trying to fix it ASAP.
Here is what a forum user said about the neighbors not showing problem: “Well, I am trying to play. No characters are showing up on the Pioneer trail and on top of that since the two are linked my own character is not showing up on Frontierville and I cannot complete any missions there because of it.”
So apparently, this is a problem in both FrontierVille and Pioneer Trail, which makes things even worse.

I have a HUGE problem! My neighbors DID go away. BUT! Once they accepted the trail and started playing they showed back up. Again there is a BUT! I have MANY more neighbors than before. They are people I have deleted all the way back a year ago!! Some even blocked! Now they are showing up on my farm. AND they took away the choice of clicking Frontier friends before we send gifts. This is a huge HUGE inconvenience to most players. I have several hundred friends from High School from 30 yrs ago. Most do NOT play so now it takes me over an hour to send out gifts. You have to go thru EVERY friend and HOPE you remember which ones play the game. I hope they are working on this too. I am noticing my neighbors steadily building back up and am now able to finish the missions so hopefully everyones will be back up very soon.
My Neighbors are not showing at all.. Can’t send any gifts because no names come up on the screen to send them to..Therefore If you don’t send any, you don’t get many… Cannot do missions either because you have no one to ask for the things you need.. I wish I did know how to fix it… Then I wouldn’t be having this problem…
I don’t have a problem with my neighbors missing. I’ve got something really strange happening, My past neighbors are now now back on my page, People who are not on my friend list any more!!!
My problem is slightly different… I have my neighbours at my homestead but when I visit them, my character doesn’t appear!!!! I have a mission (timed mission!!! which I have only 1 day and a half to complete…) to clear 30 wild flowers from a neighbour homestead and I can’t do it!!!!! HELP PLEASE!!!
My problem is all rolled into 1. I can’t request neighbors, send gifts abd finish missons due to the issues and NO ONE is listening. I emailed them 2 days ago and no response as of yet. They put these games out there for people to play but when they do, then they don’t want to get the problems fixed. PLEASE HELP!!!

Driving me insane as well! I have sent 2 emails to Zynga as I too can’t ask for anything. It’s not only on the Pioneer Trail, but also happened in the middle of the timed mission for the Botanist. Sooo wanted those avocados! It’s quite cumbersome on the trail and the rations are pathetic! Kind of relieved though to see others are having the same issue.

Are they the same as your regular neighbours on FV? I cannot find a request for friends for PT. Seems I have a glitch…. can you repair it please?

I have the carpenteer doctor and hunter. I have 20+ peeps I visit 3 times a day. NO ONE EVER visits me. What’s up with that? It’s getting boring to NEVER have visitors:(

My Avatar is even now missing from my own frontierville. Ditto with the others who go to visit neighbors but can’t do anything. I’m now totally stuck, can’t even plant crops to complete a mission. It’s time they rolled back Pioneer trail until they work out the bugs. If it’s not fixed by this weekend I’m deleting the whole mess.
Anyone heard anything recently about them fixing this soon?? I can’t request items for quests or buildings from neighbors at all… only when on pioneer trail, but i’m still working on things on my homestead and I can’t ask any neighbors for anything, so I can’t play! If they don’t fix it soon I will uninstall this stupid game… !!!! Grrr

I can not accept or return gifts. When I try to accept it says my page cannot load and to update flash player, I have updated and still cannot send or accept. My school house is also missing. Please get these problems fixed. I also as well as many others hate the changes you have made to facebook. My list showing friends on facebook that was on the right of screen will not show either. This is the third or fourth help ticket I have sent regarding different issues. Everytime one thing gets fixed you change things and something else messes up. please HELP!!!!
I am also having many of the same issues as those listed already, so I won’t repeat them. But I am also experiencing a ‘glitch’ in the neighbor issue: There are persons on my bar that have been deleted and blocked from my account but are still taking up a neighbor space on my bar. Also, when I visit, the neighbors homestead will not load up! This is locking up my game and causing a constant refresh back to my own homestead. I wrote Zynga directly through the official Google site and they responded to me within the hour and compensated me for the inconvienience. However, the issue still exists after 2 weeks and getting much worse. Now I have missing active neighbors and my blocked inactive neighbors are still sitting on my bar. What gives?! These glitches are creating a ‘dead-lock’ game, only able to play a little by yourself until you just wanna give up.
I have done some research for those of you waiting and waiting for the facebook zynga people to hear you,,, they don’t even read these posts. Sites like this one are simply passifiers they put up to give people a place to tell their issues to with no result.
Personally, I think this game took off so fast for the designers, they didn’t have a clue how to keep up with its demands and it is getting very expensive for them to keep the designers running this game right. Has anyone else noticed that there is not one single complaint from anyone who has dropped hard cold cash into this game to finish the missions. Non-cash gamers seem to be getting stuck with all the issues. I’m guilty of dropping real cash into the missions in this game because of the neighbor issues. But at this point, I would rather save the horseshoe cash for a nice dinner for two at the Hyatt Regency than spend it on a game that has no intention of fixing the free-gamer’s issues.
Hi I’m having a problem abt neighbors on pioneer trail,when be4 i play my friend neighbors list appear both on my pioneer trail list and the app name”my neighbor”on pioneer trail but when i get it back it didn’t appear i dunno why both my neighbor and my friends of friends only my friends appears.Can u plz fix the problem I dunno what happened?
I was having many of the same problems after a changed from Explorer to Firefox. Although, Firefox improved my Frontier load time, I was left at times with missing people and buildings. Looks like little white cutout silhouettes. So then I changed my browser to Google Chrome and NO MORE PROBLEMS!!! Works great, at least on my computer.
