Howdy, pardners! As you probably know already, there’s a train station on the frontier, but there’s no train to make it useful. Therefore, your goals today will be to build up a train and make sure that the ride to the Gold Rush is a smooth, safe one!
Therefore, you have four new missions to complete in this new series – very difficult ones, I might add, since they require a lot of item crafting and tons of items collected from neighbors. However, I might have helped you a little bit to get prepared (at least) with guides for the Making a Train missions. Check them out below:
- Making the Engine Work mission
- Pampered Passengers mission
- Cargo Carriers mission
- End with the Start mission
However, it’s not just new missions that we received with the Making a Train series, there’s also a bunch of new content – free gifts and new items in the market. We’ll start with the freebies, available on the free gifts page (Steel Forge and Blazing Star):
There are four new items in the market, the Beautyberry and Blazing Star crops, plus the premium items Pronghorn and Steel Forge (you should not spend money on the Steel Forge, though, but make sure you get some as free gifts!):
And this is it! With the train in place, it certainly won’t be long until we’ll be able to head to the Gold Rush and start prospecting for gold!

I just love this game but think we must get parts harevesting crops and chop trees and not ask to much of neighbors. And can ask all neighbors for saloon drinks cause this saloon drinks is my worse nightmare………….worse than Friday the 13th!
I agree. It is getting really old having to ask every day for items. I have a lot of neighbors, but not everyone accepts their gifts and it takes forever to collect. I would rather chop, strategize, plant etc to complete these missions. This has turned into the requesting items game, rather than enjoying the components of this game. :/
