One of our dear readers, Miss Anna Mae Perohan, has decided to share with us some of the tips and tricks she found out while playing FrontierVille and I invite you check them out below. She also sent us some images with her homestead which looks simply amazing and certainly deserves a round of applause from us all. But let’s start with the FrontierVille Tips & Tricks she had to share:
1. ITEMS REQUESTED THROUGH FRIENDS, CAN BE REQUESTED A LOT OF TIMES
Here is what I did: I got 2 other fake accounts to send and receive gifts. When I request an item, I go to my fake account and click the accept button. Then I copied the link of the request page then after few minutes (give it 15-20 minutes), copy paste the link again in your browser and you can send the item again.
2. CROP HARVEST
If you are hurrying to harvest your crops, you can just ask your neighbors to tend them and they will be counted in the quest as crops harvested (same goes with animal tending).
3. Customizing/Moving Items
Have you ever had an experience when you tried moving your items but they got stuck somewhere where you couldn’t move them again? You just have to refresh the page and that item will move back to its original place. I found this to be one way of redecorating my homestead: I made some items like waters or building or any other to be stuck (bug) somewhere, then I put decorations on the original place of that item. In my case I let my water stuck and then put some goose, flowers on the empty space then when I refresh the page I got some beautiful waterfalls… I attach some pictures of them.
So here are the wonderful images of Miss Anna’s Homestead, maybe you can use them as inspiration (even though I have never had problems with items getting stuck…):

Besides my main account — now level 83 — I also have four other accounts.
Yep, I said four other accounts, as in not one, not two, not three but four.
I don’t find it sneaky, or cheating, or immoral, or unethical, or anything like that, really.
My reasoning behind them is that Zynga forces us to beg for sooooo many damn items. Seriously, how many would you find if you went back and counted from Day One? At this point, as Zynga “celebrates” FrontierVille’s one-year anniversary, probably more than 10,000. I would wager it would even be closer to 15,000 – 20,000.
By those numbers, I mean all the items necessary for timed quests, for regular quests, for building materials, for holiday quests, etc. I mean, what the heck — 30 wagon trailers for a land expansion??? Don’t even get me started on the freaking chicken coops and the insane amount of items needed to fully expand a single coop.
So maybe some see it as cheating. Maybe Facebook would see it as having multiple accounts and want to can me for it. So long as they leave my level 83 alone, I could care less. I’m at a point in my life offline where I just don’t play as often as I used to six or seven months ago, and when I do play I don’t take things all that seriously. All the “CityVille has been enhanced, please refresh your browser,” all the 93 percent loading bar on FrontierVille, all the lost gifts and random attacks in Mafia Wars, all the building, building, building, building required in Cafe World…..
if Zynga has a problem with me having four “fake”, “dummy,” “multiple” accounts, maybe they should cut back just a bit on all the begging requests. Those requests have already cost them so many players and frustrated Facebook users who do not play the games to no end. It has already caused Facebook to try to alienate Zynga by making notifications give game requests. It has already caused multiple bugs, rollbacks, repeats and software upgrades.
Maybe I wouldn’t need the other accounts if Zynga would get its act together and make it 10 wagon trailers instead of 30, or 15 hand drills instead of 20….anyone remember the insanity of the Thanksgiving “quests” or the horror that was New Years?
This is a company that does not know how to run a game. They know how to MAKE MONEY by running a game. But they do not know how to RUN IT. Those poor developers, even with their paychecks, I wonder how many of them think about leaving for a better company each day.
@John Smith
You only have 4. I have 25 dummy account to help my main account.
Having “25″ dummy accounts doesn’t really do you much good, easy, when Zynga limits the number of gifts per posted Facebook request to three.
With the time limit Zynga places on in-game requests, that makes it a tad difficult to get things done with more than three dummy accounts. Hence, I only have four.
I suppose, in theory, you could be playing the same quest on multiple accounts – I do it all the time – thus the ‘You get one too!’ gift. However, coordinating all 25 would be far too much time and effort for such a silly little game and such a poorly run company.
That’s under the assumption you weren’t lying, which I suspect you were.
I have 3 fake profiles and the snag bar….with out that i wouldnt be able to finish anything! requests are crazy same reason i have 20 or so friends on my fb that i dont know and only play the games with just so i have good neighbours that are active since only 2 of my real friends are active enough to be helpful
…..and no i dont think using the snag bar is cheating since zynga said their fine with it i just seen it and good sense im only claiming the requests that are already there for me
Well, I thank you for this article, but I personally cannot stand my neighbor’s Frontiers that are chock-full of things, it makes the game lag and generally sends everything into a fit! But having said that, seeing something like nice screencaps is wonderful.
I thought I was crazy by having 4 accounts(mine,my daughter,2 fakes) and 65 neighbors that are gamers..but 25 accounts is too much..everytime takes me 4 hours to go thru all the requests and play the game,,sometimes twice a day..I am addicted to this game,,good thing is that I am not rich and haven’t bought a lot of cards(about 5 only)..I like to collect exotic animals but I am not going crazy and saving all of them my limit is 5 or 6 of each..because is too much,,,thanks for some of the tips here..I read FVI often just to be ready for my missions is a great page. question what is a snag bar?
@Big Mike….Snag bar is fun by Gamers united ….. it basically collects all the rewards from your friends requests for you so you dont have to click a million links, so you get the rewards and they get the items they need its win win …. theres also other lil perks from using Gamers united
@ Vonny,,,how do I sign up for the snag bar?
I agree with John Smith i don’t think of my 12 other accounts as “cheating” just as extra help because like you said, we have to collect so many fucking items, i can hardly finish a mission in a normal amount of time.
Doesn’t look like they are listening to complaints about begging. One of the latest missions has 90 request to finish the wedding dress. Don’t like the begging either.
THEN DONT PLAY A SOCIAL GAME!!!! SO SICK of people crying about the fact they have to ask neighbors for items. If you dont like the social game setting IT IS REAL SIMPLE DONT PLAY SOCIAL GAMES!!!!!
Aww who piss in your cornflakes Jay
Thanks Vonny, guess he had been waiting all day to pounce on someone!!!! The cure then
for his sickness would be to quit reading comments.!!!! LOL
@Hazel i wasnt defending you i agree if your gonna play social games stop bitching when you need to socialise….i just think Mr. King should get the same treatment he gave me….apparently im not aloud give out on my own private profile without getting de-friended over a comment in no way directed at him but its ok for him to give out crap in a public forum…. Hypocrisy thy name is Jay King
wow.. i only have one account and havent had any issues getting quests done, sure might take more time but what the heck… tht is the name of the game!
