Really, that’s all I can tell you following the official release of the Pioneer Trail expansion in FrontierVill: be patient and try to remain calm. The launch of the expansion has been followed by a lot of problems, like Blasted internet connection issues, “A Great game just got better” messages, all sorts of bugs and glitches and yes, the Pioneer Trail is not yet working flawlessly, as we would’ve liked it to be!
And I know that it’s frustrating to get all these errors, but be patient: Zynga is working like crazy to fix all these problems and let us enjoy what seems to be the greatest EVER expansion released on Facebook. You should know that launching such a massive upgrade to such an impressive number of people will automatically come with errors that couldn’t have been anticipated, so we can’t really say that Zynga didn’t do a great job – I am sure they did everything they could to deliver a perfect experience with the Pioneer Trail but, well… s*** happens!
So hold on tight, be patient and try to remain calm while Zynga strives to fix all the problems, bugs and connection errors that we have when playing the Pioneer Trail. Just remember how long we’ve waited for it to go live and I think that we can wait one or two more days too.
And until then, check out all the details that I’ve posted here (and a ton of new ones are coming!) to keep you informed about the Pioneer Trail!

I agree, you will lose every neighbor, plus I lost progress on my land expansion mission. I am contacting zynga because it published to my wall that I was done, reload as pioneer trail, and back to where I was when I first started this morning, and no neighbors to try to complete the mission again!
i am playing the bever mision and collect the wild pecan trees but it dont so up in my mission how many i harvest rbrbbrb now lost a lot of energie whit harvest the trees and get nothing
i know zynga works on it

Is anyone having problems with thier doctor, hunter, and carpenter??? I can’t figure out how to get them to appear.
I’m having the same issue. I can log into Pioneer Trail fine each time. Everything loads, except, it seems, the doctor, hunter and carpenter. None of them appear, and then no matter what I click on, it says I can’t perform that action yet. Any way to get them to appear?
It sucks that there’s bugs happening with this but it’ll get fixed.
I didn’t lose my neighbors or my energy…my only problem (besides blasted internet!) is that when I visit my trail leaders frontier, I rarely get the “visit” bonus or the option to post my visit to their wall asking for items. Other than that, loving this game and wishing it didn’t take 15min to get each new ration!!
On Pioneer Trail, my “My Tools” won’t work so I cannot move the wagon. Doesn’t look like I”m getting to Ftl. Courage any time soon.
I write them and got a form letter of instructios that didn’t help.
Kay – you do not move the wagon yourself; it moves on its own as you complete certain missions.
Does anyone know how to get back to my pioneer trail when I’m visiting neighbors? The home button takes me back to my frontier, but I can’t find a way to get back to my pioneer.
My biggest problem is that my list of neighbors have dissappeared. The game says you have to invite them again but when I went to invite them there is still no list of people to invite!!! Also can’t upgrade my wagon without neighbors!!! And can’t request any help on my frontierville page either. Very frustrating!
Also I’m having trouble finding the hidden missions. Anybody know the best thing to click on to find them?
I can’t find my own avatar and when I go to the family album, the 2 kids and spouse are there, but I’m missing. Someone suggested I try going there to see if I was in the album. Not being there, I can’t go to my neighbors now and tend their homesteads. Were they really ready for this to start?
Never thought I would say this but I wish I had those problems !!! My problem is I haven’t been able to access the game past the start page since they launched Pioneer Trail!! 2 days going on 3 for me and from the forums its happening to a lot of others as well !! I realized a new game is going to have bugs but I never thought I wouldn’t be able to play at all… VERY ANNOYED and trying not to be !!
In addition to characters missing, now when I try to select an action, the item “glues” to the cursor/arrow and drags around the whole page. No actions can take place. Crud.
I am having the problem of not being able to move farther then then crossing the rebuilt bridge. I can not find any more tasks to complete. I also do not receive my rewards for visiting
I am missing all of my property in the bottom corner of my property on frontierville! And every time I open the game I am awarded the same prize for the same mission being completed. (Decoratin’ where you can share a white rose for completing it.)

Kay ad Sandi. My bridge is fixed and the other missions are done but my wagon is sitting the wrong side of the bridge still. Also I haven’t played for 10 hours but my rations haven’t replenished. Getting bored playing this I have to say
Oh, forgot to say, the bridge fixed itself overnight but when I click on it, it says that I haven’t even started and I can post a request for friends to help!! When left it, I only needed 25 more clicks!
Is anyone having problems in the second part of the journey. I can’t get my 10 rain drop to register and I have not been able to find 1 !mission.
Every time I log in I get “Matilda the Rifle” mission complete. When I click on next story (pioneer camp) I get “Blastered internet….”?!!? This is starting to p**s me off!!!! Don’t think much to the Pioneer Trail either
I have not been able to play the game at all since Pioneer Trail was launched. I keep getting the message that Firefox can’t find a server. I get the same message with IE. It seems to me that with so many bugs, they should have waited to launch the new Pioneer. They could have at least left Frontierville separate so that those with the problem such as mine could at least play one of the games.
I am having problems with my hidden missions. I have one at the beginning of the trail, but when I try to click on it, it won’t recognize it. I only have one hidden mission left and can’t get anything else to pop up.
I lost my crew so I refreshed the game and they came back, that’s the only think I have ‘fixed’ so far…
I am also having an issue with the “ask friends” part of missions.
It only shows the ‘all friends’ tab, there is no frontier friends or pioneer trail tab.
This happens in both pioneer trail as in frontierville/homestead.
Just wondering if zynga might be violating facebooks terms of use here? because it seems to me they more or less invite players to spam their non-playing friends with help requests

It seems that we have the same error. Every time I open the game see the award for ‘Decoratin’ where you can share and do you want to share a white rose for completing it’. Its annoying! And I completed the mission a few days ago.
Also, I am unable to sew Fanny’s wedding dress as each time I click FINISH, the ‘blasted internet’ message pops up and the game refreshes. Urgh!! So now I can’t complete mission III for the wedding ;(

Belinda, you are not supposed to move your wagon. It will move when you complete a mission.
I am having trouble closing the wagon after I open it to get more energy. It is so big i cant see the X to close it
I have sooo frustrated have harvested 150 wheat. 20 cotton and 60 corn and it has all disappeared but not credited my goals. I completed the big barn got the next goal but everytime I open the game the old completed mission comes up and it resets all the work I have done on the new goal and lastly ( don’t mean to moan but it is really annoying) on the buyer beware goal no matter how many collections I turn in it won’t finish the goal. On top of the fact I lost all my progress witht the glitch a few weeks ago and yet didnn’t get the compensation package I am not a happy pioneer at present.
Take forever to load initially. I have one quest I have completed 20 items but it says the inherent goes quiet every time I complete it. Another quest where i had to harvest 60 potatoes reset and now it says I have not done any. Its really messed up right now.
ok I can’t get my doc or carpenter or hunter I fire my neighbors and get the doc bess and the carpenter but only for one play they are showing up on the tool bar but i have no neighbors there and so i am constantly having to ask my neighbors to be my hunter doc and carpenter, how many times do you have to fire these people and re ask to be them again this is stupid….. why wasn’t this checked out first and why with al these complaints about the same things are they not addressing them first???????????????????????
I have not played frontierville in like a month (work, kids, inlaws, You know life in the way…lol) Any way I came back yesterday and discoved pioneer trail… ok interesting… but I have missions on frontierville where I have to clear things on neighbors and I can get to there frontier but can not do any tend options. I have five left but when I click on the animal to tend my character is nowhere to be found. help!!!!

To Debbie: Try waiting a little longer. I had the same problem and finally the travel button and friends showed up.
I’m having problems loading today. Keeps saying I need to log in, over and over again.
I can’t even get passed the loading screen for three days now…..it just freezed at about 95%…..my kids have no problems with there accounts and can play the game…i have tried google chrome, firefoxe and IE. I have also contacted facebook….so annoying

cant travel to other side, when i do it pops up running time has and kicks me off. Cant even play the game.
I have finished the bridge and all the missions, but one because it tells me i only found and finished 7/8 hidden missions. Don’t know what to do to get 8/8.

Use your avitar and click things. Sometimes that helps. Also refresh and it might show up too.
I have used my own character and nothing is showing up no matter how much i clear and i have tried refreshing. nothing is working. i am stuck and cannot continue until that last hidden mission is complete. i am stuck on 7/8 with nothing to do.
I have finished all mission except for map goals cause there is one more hidden mission that won’t pop up anywhere. So in the meantime I am stuck going no where in the game. When is this going to be fixed
I am having the same problem in Beaver Valley 7/8 hidden missions completed and the last one wont pop up. I have figured out it is the Turkeys Gone Wild mission but even if I find a turkey there is no Blue exclamation mark. Any one figure out how to get this working?
I found the turkey at the very first section of my property before you go over the first bridge. Try looking there after you have completed the first part of the crawfish mission.
Is there a way to restart missions in Pioneer Trail? Or restart from the beginning?
Everything it’s been ok with me but I have one mission (turkey gone wild) that will suppose to pop when I finished who wants gumbo stew but never appear. I hope they can fix this bugs soon.

Haven’t been able to get the page to load for two days! Tried IE9, Firefox, and Chrome. I noticed the posts look a little different. Seems every time they change something they have bugs for about a week!

I have one mission left but when I checked the missions I know I did them all but can not find any other missions but can not get past beaver trail.I have been looking for 4 days and lots of rations being wasted 2-3 times a day
I finally got enough tickets to buy my snow chipmunk and I placed in on my land in the Pioneer trail and I need to put it on my homestead to get credit for it. Can’t move it back to my inventory. Don’t make the same mistake that I did. Now I have to try to save up enough tickets to buy another one. I am not getting any rations today for visiting neighbors. Wish they would fix all of these bugs..so frustrating. This could be really fun but all of the bugs and the difficulty getting rations kind of messes up the fun factor.
I cant even travel without it kicking me back to the my home page, and the stupid error page coming back again. I It goes to travel down the path then once again it kicks you off. Please fix this crap this is really getting old.
I think they fixed the problem of finishing Beaver trail. When I logged on today I found that there was a mission there so I was able to finish and finally got out of Beaver. Woooo hooo I thought i was stuck there since I was for 5 days.

I was just wanting ask about 1 of the task required in pioneer trail. It tells you to move your wagon but, when I click on it boxes with words upgrade and go inside come up and there is nothing to with moving the wagon.

To Shannon: When you finish the mission your wagon will move. You can’t move it yourself.

OK, I have got very close to the end but am not able to finish the wolf mission as ‘the blasted internet…’ comes up every time I shoot a wolf!!! HELP?! zynga has not answered me yet and it has been many days (10)
Some things are fixed but the puppies, puppies puppies is not. When I click on the puppie it follows and the reward comes up but when I go to something else it comes right back again.
Ok, thought they had most of the bugs fixed and now I’m back to where the game won’t load again. Gosh this is frustrating!

ok, you did a good job fixing the last thing but now there is another bug. Radical Reconstruction is in two places on the mission board. when I click on it , the mission board freezes up and I have to leave the game Can you fix this?
Pioneer trail is not loading. I have firefox and windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bits) and in both computers, the game does not load. What should I do? Please help me
To Maria: Try Chrome. I downloaded it and have been using it this week when I couldn’t get on. Still have problems with the internet going quiet and having to reload but at least it loads most times. Good luck!
ok guys and gals. Here is my problem. The mission
Radical Reconstruction is still giving me a big problem. It appears two to five times on the mission board. Will not give me credit for the frist part even thought I have done it three times. If I click on it the board freezes up and the only way to fix it is reload. Can you get it to work the way it should?
Here is the problem this week. After opening the game, I click on request board almost all come up saying error. I am sure you know about this but are a little slow getting it fixed. Still love the game.
Most of the time the gifts time out before you receive it. I wish they would quit changing things that aren’t broke and fix the things that are! “Blasted Internet” is driving me crazy!
Come on guys lets get it right. Harvesting 600 peanuts only to
have all of the missions reset to the begining is just too much. It was fun but I am rethinking how I spend my time.
Ok now once the page loads nothing else will open up. Can’t request gifts, can’t go to inventory, can’t go to market, can’t do anything other than feed animals with what energy you have when you load. Been like this for two days!
When I open the game up most of my buildings are not showing up. It’s been this way for 5 days now and I’m about ready to quit and play something else. Please fix the problems

I’m wondering if anyone else is having a problem requesting stuff.. I mean ALL stuff. Any requests I make are not showing up on any of my FB friends pages. It’s been 5 days now and I cannot get anything to complete any quests UNLESS I PAY FOR THEM. Call me paranoid, but it’s interesting that all the problems I’m currently experiencing can be fixed by simply paying for the stuff (I’m also getting lots of roll backs on missions)
PLEASE someone tell me how to fix my problems with Pioneer Trail. This is the last day I will spend all this time and energy. I cant get any administrators with the game to answer any of my questions…..The problem is, for a couple of weeks now, every time I try to play or answer requests it throws me to my fb login page and then that page just continuously flashes, not letting me do anything. To Jahna: try downloading a different browser. I was having the same problem so I downloaded Google Chrome. It works much better.

To Maria: I’m having a lot of problems too with freezing and losing internet connections. Using chrome too but it seems to be better than the others. Wrote Zynga and hope they get the loading issues fixed soon!

Linda ,, Was having all sorts of loading problems as well ,Google chrome is a lot better. It will leave an icon on your desktop. Log on from there and not your usual google homepage
