Although not as exciting for the gamers as the Pioneer Trail expansion was before getting launched, the Gold Rush will be the second huge expansion released in FrontierVille (aka The Pioneer Trail) and it’s one of the four original “coming soon” locations of the game. And now it’s coming really soon and the only question that remains is when will the Gold Rush expansion be released?
Zynga is keeping quiet on this matter, but if we are to judge from the content released in the game (the Train Station, for example) and the latest series of Gold Rush Stories missions, we can only imagine that the upcoming expansion is REALLY close.
We don’t know how big it is – and probably it’s a lot smaller than The Pioneer Trail, but hopefully it’s also a lot more than the previous additions, like the Holiday Hollow to mention the most recent. However, depending on the size of the upcoming Gold Rush, Zynga might have to do some extra testing and tweaking. But we believe that it won’t take too much for that and most likely we’ll see the Gold Rush released to FrontierVille by the end of the month or during early March.
So let me ask you a question: are you excited at the prospect of a new expansion being released in FrontierVille as the Gold Rush or you don’t care about these expansions that much since the release of The Pioneer Trail?
I didn’t mind the content of the Pioneer Trail…
My only issue was, the long-delayed hype they implemented in getting it launched, only to have to wait at the end of each section, and then the final disappointment when we reached Fort Discouragement. I was expecting a whole lot more for finally reaching the end, and it was a HUGE let-down.
I agree with Brian….I was expecting a lot more from the Pioneer Trail. There was even a position that was”coming soon” that never came! And the Holiday Hollow was also disappointing. I am just finishing this up now and I have lost almost all interest in the game but I am determined to finish it. What do we do with all of the candy canes we collected? Can’t even use them to buy Holiday decorations! Hopefully zynga has learned from the previous games and the Gold Rush will be more interesting, and we can actually buy things with the gold that we get.
I also agree with Brian & Bobbi…. was hoping that at the end of these other trails, we be able to build on them, just like on our home trail… we can’t buy anything with all the candy cane or gems from ghost town. I don’t even go back to those trails unless I have to!!!
we need more land to put everything you send us and I hate that we are limited to how much bonus we collect! really now, how can we get anywhere??
