Zynga is preparing us and the Frontier Ville for winter with a new series of missions, the Winter Is Coming series. The first mission in this series is the A Winter’s Journey mission and you can find out everything about it in this article!
The requirements for the A Winter’s Journey mission are:
- Tend 50 Apple Trees
- Visit 20 Neighbors
- Collect 15 Snow Shoes
Pretty simple requirements, if you have enough apple trees or time to stay around and harvest them. Also the Snow Shoes is a new type of item you can get by asking your neighbors. Getting really crowded out there with all these requests, I must admit that!
After completing the A Winter’s Journey mission, you will receive as a reward 200 XP & 400 Coins.
Please have in mind that at the moment of writing this mission has not been officially launched – we might have to wait until Saturday, November 27 or next week to see the mission live!
I love the collections but I’m getting sick of the constant spamming to the feed begging for stuff. I really hope this isn’t another one that tries to get you to harass your non-FV playing friends.
Ok, these missions are getting really boring- too many requests! Too many posts required! I want to DO things around my/ my neighbors’ homesteads, not just click, request, and repeat!
Enough already. I like missions, but have few friends who actually play. Result? I annoy most of my friends with endless begging for game items, and with few friends who play none of us actually complete the missions.
How about 1-part missions that we can actually complete for those who do not have hundreds of friends or who do not spend real cash on the game?
Well I want to buy a snow blanket, but I had to add 10 more neighbors…. Why can I buy blanket for 50 000 coins, or get as a reward for completed mission?
Those of you who are “tired” of “annoying” everyone on your fb friend’s list just so that the people who actually play the games can see your post really haven’t figured out what that little padlock thing with an arrow next to the “post” button is for…..?? Click on that, click customize, “make visible to” click specific people, then either individually type out the people you want to see the post, or be smart and make a list of friends that you have already set up and just type the name of the list. That, or tell your friends that don’t want to see the post to block the game and they won’t have to worry about it. These new games give you over a month to complete, even if you have one friend who plays, you can still complete each one of the new missions within that month… Don’t like it? Don’t play the game…. if you don’t want to spend “real life money”, then don’t. You don’t HAVE to spend anything other than time on this game.
And honestly, anyone who is paying real money on this game is retarded.

I have visited 30 neighbours and only got 5, someone got an explantion for this?
I have visited more than 20 neighbors and it is not giving me the credit for it!!! this is crap!!!
Same problem as Denise… I am not getting credit for visiting 20 neighbors. Plus I can’t hire HANK and I am not getting RSVP’s back for the FEAST!!! Grrr!!!
I am notgetting neighbor visits creditied… the first time I just bought out, but it is doing the same again,,, so id like you to fix it please…
Hello all. I was having the same problem when visiting neighbors and I know my friend was as well. After not receiving “credit” for visiting neighbors when I had, I just logged off and logged back on. When I reloaded the game everything was fine and all my progress was there.
I’m also having a problem with this quest – i’ve completed part II of the quest – varmints, wheat and potatoes – was already working on part 3 and now i’ve gone onto my frontierville and it’s put me back to part II again!!!????? what’s that about.
I have the same problem as Michelle.
I harvest the last wheat, complete the mission, share the reward. The part lII of the mission comes up and later I get an error message and have to reload. Now I am back to part II of the mission with one wheat to harvest. But my profile accepts the mission completion posts. Tried 8 times, logged 8 posts! Even closed Zynga and tried again this morning after a computer restart.
Zynga, please fix this fast!
