You Can Now Trade New Items at the Trading Post

We’ve just got word from our reader Boneso that finally we can trade new items at the trading post in FrontierVille: Groundhog Day quest items, Valentines Day items and Chapel Building supplies.

You will see that, as in the case of all the other items that you can trade at the Trading Post in FrontierVille, you won’t really get too much in return, but some items can be traded for some extra food, and everything matters now if you want to complete the Canning Master series!

Here is my take on trading post:

I traded away all of my elbow grease, all my jars, etc. and guess what? Mere weeks after doing so we as players get new quests that require you to have them AGAIN.

Sorry Zynga. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice — screw you.

I agree with.. if its a building supply item such as mallets, windows, cement etc I am keeping the rest of the items we needed that most likely will not be needed again I got rid of. I ltraded in some of the bins and shelves (I only had one anyway) and then realized I needed it for the storage expansion. I need to trade in a ton of other items too but its eitiher not on the list or I have already exedded the limit for the day =(

Unless it’s for some type of mission or merit badge (haha, horseshoe pit is a complete ripoff), I’m keeping all my stuff. I still have boiled boots, french fries and finally down to a couple dozen fruitcakes (eating those instead of buying meals; stupid canning missions require an obscene amount of food).

Can anyone tell me why a LOT of items are not eligible to trade at all.. I have loads of items that are sitting in my Inventory and I am not allowed to trade them at all. Useless items from past missions. I think we should be allowed to dispose of these items at our own accord. What’s up Zynga? Choir robes from a year ago when I built my church? Come on!!! BTW…I wrote to Zynga customer service and they have YET to tell me the reason.. they just said I couldn’t do it cause they weren’t eligible!
