UPDATE: Zynga has officially confirmed that it was nothing but a glitch which should be fixed by now and all Mystery Boxes should cost 34 HS. No random prices were being tested!
A relatively strange thing is happening in FrontierVille according to various reports, after the release of the Bess and Fanny Mystery Crates. According to our readers, the prices of the Mystery Boxes vary from player to player in what is either a price attached randomly or a price depending on the level of the player. Either way, it’s really strange to have this happening and we’ve contacted Zynga for clarification – we’ll let you know when or if we have an answer.
Here is what our reader Jamie says: “It has come to my attention from a Zynga chat employee that Zynga is now randomizing prices of items and diff people are having to pay diff prices for same items for no reason at all! This is illegal for most services and should be here too!”
Please have in mind that for now we only have reports regarding the mystery crates and it is a huge possibility that it’s nothing but a glitch in the system. But do tell us: how much do the Bess and Fanny Mystery Crates cost in your game? For me, they are 34 Horseshoes and two other friends of mine have the same price attached to them…
My Fanny/Bess mystery crates are also 34 HS.
I’m a level 97 player and the crates are priced at 38 for me.
level 100 and its 40 HS for me..
level 92, costs 40 AND I should have a discount for the school’s Rithmatic. =/

They seem to be doing different prices for the 37*37 early unlock aswell
Them boxes weren’t the only things that have different number of coins/horseshoes. My frontier has clover for 9 coins, my husbands frontier clover is 10 coins. My 37 x 37 early unlock was 200 horseshoes.
I paid 45 horseshoes for the mystery crates
