Apparently Zynga isn’t getting the positive response they wanted from the release of the Prospect Falls expansion in FrontierVille and apparently Prospect Falls is the worst received expansion of the game. Probably the main reason why this happened is the fact that the expansion didn’t bring anything new (like Pioneer Trail did, for example) and players were already clogged with missions on their Homestead.
Zynga’s sweepstakes for Prospect Falls in FrontierVille will most likely be the last content release for the expansion. It didn’t have the success Zynga wanted – they probably hoped that it will turn into a second homestead for us, one that will make us spend even more time with the game. I must repeat – apparently they were wrong. So they are planning to move forward.
Although this was not officially confirmed by Zynga, we have some solid reasons to believe that we won’t see much content released for Prospect Falls and Zynga will be looking to a new way of injecting some extra exciting content to bring more players back and keep us entertained. I truly hope that they manage to do it.
And if this is true and indeed Prospect Falls in FrontierVille doesn’t have a long life ahead, would you regret “losing” it?
i for one would miss it. im finished.. but just the bonuses off all the buildings are enough for me to still go there every day
I would miss it. It was good to do as an add on and now it returns great xp visiting once a day. If you had to spend more time there it would be too much combined with the Homestead.
I just haven’t had time to play it. I’m bigger down with about 30 missions on the homestead, not counting the cowgirl missions I haven’t started(and don’t want to start because of the repeats you are forced to do). Would love it if they would quit bombarding me with missions! One of the reasons PT was such a success is because they stopped homestead missions right before introducing it. PF could have been a similar hit, if only they had done the same.
I agree with Jean, I loved playing the games until recently, then I was bogged down with over 30 missions(some having more missions inside a mission) plus repeating missions.I just gave up on the game after almost 2 years .
Prospect falls is ridiculous. No room for these houses, limited energy, limited inventory. I don’t enjoy it at all and basically only go there to collect bonuses to level up quicker. It’s a bust in my opinion.
J’avais beaucoup de plaisir à jouer mais depuis quelques mois, trop de missions et trop d’objets à demander rendent le jeu monotone et lassant ! Je ne m’occupe pas du terrain Prospect chutes. Il y a assez de missions sur le terrain principal !!! Beaucoup de voisins ont arrêté de jouer et tout le monde en a assez ! Il faudrait qu’ils donnent 1 mission par semaine s’ils veulent continuer d’avoir des joueurs…. Trop c’est trop !! Enfin c’est mon avis !
R U effin kinding me. After all the BLOOD, SWEAT, and mostly TEARS that I’ve put into that expansion, NOW, they want to do away with it? I honestly cannot figure out why I still play this game, other than to get my horseshoes worth.
I can see the lack of response to it. They threw all of those Prospect Falls missions out at the same time they had all of the cowgirl training missions. Very discouraging to people who are already bogged down trying to finish a nursery for the twins and a play ground. I personally finished all of the PF missions and am 5 house short of completing the last mission. I do think that PF is very expensive to play — they should have let you visit neighbors to help gather wood and other items.
with all the missions (As Jean says, and ALL The BUGS and Problems where I can’t even keep my homestead running who has time to go to Prospect when to start with IT WON”T EVEN LET ME LOAD!! Zyna, your really going down hill FAST!
One word sums it up for me… BORING!!!!!!!!!!!! too many missions…too many repeated missions and little rewards. I like the game but it’s getting repetative and mundane, more of a daily chore if you don’t use horseshoes to get what you need. What I now do is wait for about a week or two then do all the missions at once, as some missions require the same items and I get to kill 2 birds with one stone. The only thing I see is that zynga are desperate to get players to spend money on horseshoes..of course I could be wrong too. Too many new items like trees and animals etc…the PC is having a very hard time trying to process it all and what’s worse is that it will load EVERYTHING even if you don’t have that item stored or displayed…unless you are running the latest computer or had one running on crack..it’s going to get loading issues
I only played the Fall when I had to. I am struggling to try to catch up with Pioneer and did what I had too on the Fall to catch up. If I had wanted to play a new game I would have done so without being forced. I hope it does end.
If you remember the video before the release, we were suppose to be able to go inside the mines, have expansions, ect. All we got was back to back missions to build more buildings. No energy, limited storage, and a list of other problems. I think if that is all the people at Zynga had planned for it, they should not have released it to start with.
Yes – I’ve already expressed my frustration that they are stopping it so soon.. I was just getting into it.. now I have all this gold and no where to spend it!!
Addendum — so why do they keep the stupid Holiday stuff around? Makes no sense … just saying…
I would not miss it. I do not like hard hard it is just to feed the animals and limit they have so that I can not get what I need to finish a mission. I have about 4 or 5 missions that I can not complete because I can not get what I need from P.F. because of the restrictions.

I can’t seem to get the 40th house out of the market. Got 39 and here I sit.
I do not play it anymore anyway and haven’t for some time. They should just delete it and all of the missions associated along with it and give us an expansion that we can actually do semething with
